The Curious Incident of the Commentary in the UK

Have a look at

this HMV page.

According to it, the UK release of Cars will have audio commentary.

This was

curious, so I looked at other sites. No mention of commentary was made at

Play.com or

Virgin Megastores, so I thought it was an

error.

However, according to The Film Factory,

Cars will have commentary. Why is this a big deal? The Film Factory is the UK

version of Buena Vista Distribution, the company in charge of distributing Disney and Pixar movies.

If

this isn’t noteworthy news, I don’t know what is…

well isn’t that amazing. I wonder is John Lassiter prerecorded it, the just sent it to the UK. Nice find.

Well

blow me up and shut me down – will you look at that. It almost isn’t fair – heheh. Yes, nice find, RMS. Very

nice find.

I love the title you chose for your post, by the way: "The Curious Incident of the

Commentary in the UK". Sounds like a murder mystery.

Thanks. It’s a play on The

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, wherein a fifteen year old boy with Aspergers

Syndrome tries to solve the mystery of a dog stabbed to death with a pitch fork. It’s really

interesting.

As interesting as my find is, the half-empty guy in me is saying that they’re just mistakes,

that it will be just the same as the other discs.

Interesting. I have a mind to get my hands on that novel…

Yes, there could just as

well be an error concerning this proposed “commentary” for the UK version of the

Cars dvd. Perhaps it is just a rumor; however, for it to appear pubilically on a

website such as that, it may be factual.

Oooh, there’s gonna be a commentary? Wow…Well, I’ll

get my DVD from HMV then, since it was from the HMV page.

Minor update:

getting stronger…
