Wow, these are really cool! For the Rex scene was it supposed to be the toys acting it out after Andy leaves for cowboy camp? I don’t understand the need for them to switch the cone-crossing scene to when they were across from Al’s Toy Barn.
Anyone notice in the first one that the Pizza Planet aliens were in Andy’s room, but when you watch the film you’ll know that they didn’t join the rest of Andy’s toys until Mr. Potato Head saves them at the very end. I actually think it was kind of a dumb way for Woody to get outside rather than to rescue Wheezy, but I did think that joke with the woman’s shoe on his head was funny.
I also think the crossing the road scene works better with Al’s Toy Barn, especially cause of the added irony that they were already right next to Al’s apartment where they should go to find Woody, but didn’t know it.
Wow! I had no idea they had deleted scenes in Toy Story 2! Thanks for showing us that, lord_zedd! Makes me wanna look up other deleted scenes Pixar movies had.
Thanks for the upload! That’s realy interesting, but they sure would have changed a lot of stuff leaving the original begining. There wouldn’t even be aWheezy, would there? But I love that one anyway, seeing andy still has Bzz’s ship and the Army men going “Bang. Bang” very funny. The road crossing was really interesting, but the final fit better. It was cool to see/hear about Dinoco though
The toys were kind of pretend acting while Andy was out of the room. What was really weird though was that Woody just happened to be sitting on the fire truck when he got sent flying out the window… way too convenient if you ask me.
I think if they had a shot before that, where Woody decides not to participate in their pretend, and sits down, it would make more sense. Plus, I didn’t think it was too far-fetched, maybe he wouldn’t have landed in the box, but on the ground, where the girl would then pick him up like in the movie. Also, in TS, Buzz’s flying out the window was kinda “convenient”. Woody didn’t mean to cause that whole chain reaction, or even knock him out of the window.
Really, if you think about everything, there’s lots of stuff that would’ve changed the whole movie. Like if Buzz had gone in the closet, and Woody to the TV room, where Buzz would’ve never seen the commercial, never realized his toy status, and probably have died from Sid’s rocket. Plus, Woody wouldn’t talk across the yard to Andy’s other toys, etc.
