But, that’s the trouble with making a Dinosaur film, there are so many already done, that it’s hard to actually make something different in it.
True, but some films are more cliche than others.
That is true ^^.
I hope Pixar makes this original.
I definitely hope the same ^^.
There are some movies that did bring dinosaurs into modern times so I hope this is diffrent.
I agree again ^^.
Yeah, we know the concept, but not the plot so far.
That’s what could be original.
Part of me hopes for a sort of Spielbergian setup where the kid “discovers” the dinosaurs, but I’d rather Pixar do something more original with this concept. I’m just not sure where they can take this that hasn’t been done already. What I definitely don’t want it to be is a thinly veiled racism allegory.
I don’t think there will be a discovering of the dinosaurs, because for what I understand, they’re still alive and well in the universe of the film. The humans know they exist and interact with them.
Those are my thoughts exactly ^^.
I know, but I have this fear that the premise will be explored in the least interesting way possible. It’s something a lot of sci-fi tv shows have already dealt with ad nauseam.
Maybe, but it’s still to early to tell.
It appears that the upcoming Pixar movie about dinosaurs will be titled Frozen, currently scheduled for release on November 27, 2013.
I’m not liking the title change. It just feels like Frozen has nothing to do with dinosaurs or the prehistoric times. Kind of makes me think of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs for some reason.
I think it’s awesome. I much prefer it to be adjective (Up, Brave, Frozen) than just mere nouns like Cars or Planes (meh!)
Regarding Ice Age 3, the premise is contradictory at best, and stupid at worst. Human in part 1, and dinosaurs in part 3? I mean really?
It could be that the Frozen title is NOT the dinosaur movie. Here’s another link:

Frozen would make more sense for The Snow Queen than for dinosaurs. Either way, the most critical question is what Disney World ride will result from the upcoming Pixar movie about dinosaurs.
Yep. I just read an article about that. It appears that the dinosaur project is getting pushed back to either 2014 or 2015. I kind of knew that was coming since Pixar announced two films in one year quite a few times and it’s never happened.
I was about to say, Frozen would be a stupid name. It’a about the asteroid right? If it was about the ice age, and how that didn’t kill the dinosaours, that would make a little more sense.
So Frozen is actually the Snow Queen film?
But that was supposedly being made by Disney… When did it become a Pixar film?
Also, it would be the first Pixar adaptation.
