Firstly I’d just like to say that this is one of the best teaser trailers I have ever seen. It’s just so damn good.
Secondly, I still would love if the music in it was especially for the teaser or if it is from something else. This is probably been asked before. I’m sure it is score made especially for the teaser but just in case. Can anyone help with this?
Yes, the teaser is very amusing. It displays the perfect balance of superhero action, and comedy, as well as giving a hint of the storyline: an over-the-hill former superhero trying to get back in on the action.
As for the music: I’m pretty sure that it’s Michael Giacchino. There are a few bars that have The Incredibles main theme (that reaccurs throughout the movie) in the trailer, but it sounds slightly different. I can’t read music yet, but the music in the final version sounds higher than those few notes in the trailer. A lot of the music in the trailer doesn’t get resurrected for the movie, but it has Giacchino written all over it. But to be sure, maybe you should ask miafka. Hope that helps.
It was the teaser trailer of this movie that triggered my obsession with the Incredibles. I really enjoyed watching it. It didn’t reveal much, but it was enough to get people aware and ready for it.
I thought the trailer was really amusing. In fact I thought it was more amusing than the movie after i saw it the first time. Interesting the line “and some rice cakes” was taken out of a few versions of it.
TSS- Yeah that was a funny bit. I remember the first time I saw that the audience all sucked in their breath and went “ooooohhhh” when he hit his head on the chair. That looked like it had to hurt!
I loved the teaser as well! And the music combined with the logo just gives me goosebumps. When they zoom out and you see “The Incredibles” and the music plays so good! I just LOVE IT!
Brad Bird clearly paid quite a bit of homage to James Bond and John Barry. Throughout the whole movie, not just the trailer. Watch “You Only Live Twice” (James Bond film #5), then The Incredibles, and you’ll be amazed at all the refrences The Incredibles used.Thyough, no matter what anyone says, the Roger Moore (“The Spy Who Loved Me” through " A view to A Kill") films are the BEST Bonds.
