Hi, I’m Miriam. I’m a Sophomore Undergrad theatre major with a minor in computers. - Yeah, I’m ridiculous. I’m very interested in the production side of Pixar, my background is in Stage Management for any theatre people, and I might be looking into the Production Internship for Summer 2012 or after I graduate. Welcome Leon K Fox. I must say, I love your avatar. The Fox And The Hound was one of my favorite movies when I was younger, I must have seen it at least 200 times. I wore out the tape, I watched it so much!

The Fox and the Hound is not only my favourite Disney film, it’s my favourite film of all time without question. It had such a powerful, strong message regarding prejudice and was a friendship story that didn’t ram its morale down your throat and for the most part didn’t need to address it with dialogue, and it showed the darkside (not that there is a good side) that hunters have on wildlife and the environment in which they live.
I love The Fox and the Hound too. It does have a beautiful story, and as someone who is an Environmental Science/Natural Resource Major (Yes, I changed my major, I know!) I loved all of the beautiful scenery.
However, I must disagree, and say that hunting is actually an important part of the modern day ecology. As long as the hunter has a liscence, is hunting the appropriate species for the season, and is hunting the correct amount, the act of hunting is actually beneficial and healthy for the ecosystem.
