So, I’m new. And I never really know how to write these intro posts and things, so we’ll make this quick and painless.

Who: Dawnfinder
What: 23, married, happy, and proud bunny-mom
When: January 1st 1988, which means I just celebrated my birthday! Yes, I accept late presents, and I really, really like Swedish Fish.
Where: Washington. The state not the capital.
Why: Because I’ve always really ejoyed Pixar movies and think this looks like a pretty awesome community!

Welcome Dawnfinder! I’m glad to see another West Coaster on the boards! I hope you enjoy it around here!

Thought I would pop in and say hi from the UK

Hi, Scene! Welcome to Pixar Planet. I hope you have a fantastic time on the forums with us.

Hi everyone! I’ve been reading a few posts here before I put my post and you all seem to be a lively bunch. I stumbled upon this site while browsing for Pixar news and updates. I figured what could be a better place to go to than here? So I signed up and here I am!

I’ve been an honored fan and scholar of Pixar since the first full length feature and I devoted my life to becoming an animator for the studio. I’ve studied as much as I could during my first 12 years of school, drawing as much as I can while keeping a C average in school, well I had a few A’s, and B’s, but besides the point I didn’t want real world stuff getting between me and Pixar. After High school I applied to the best colleges there were for animation, but being so poor I had to stick with a community college and then venture off to a better one later. Now after three years of college so far I’ve pumped my brain of so much animation I feel like a cartoon myself! Now I slave away applying to Pixar till I get hired or die trying.

I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you Pixar fans! All of you have great birthdays and high spirits!

Now I must go animate my life away!

Welcome jonnyArTmac, Im sure your like it here, it’s fun. We also need another missourian, Im from a city near St. Louis. I was thinking about how we needed another mossouri member yesterday. I guess I got my wish.

Welcome jonnyArTmac, Dawnfinder, and Scene! You’re al going to love it here  Scene- it’s great to see another UK-er around here! I went to Essex last summer on a caravan holiday and I enjoyed it very much

I hope you all have an awesome time here!

Thanks Ami!

I spent a few days going through the odd threads here and there on the forums before registering, and one thing that I noticed was how friendly and like-minded people were here - so I had to sign up

Yeah, the people here are the best  I have made the most wonderful friends since I joined last April. There’s no doubt you will too!

Welcome Scene! Another UK-er, awesome! And you’re right, PP is like one big family! You’ll like it here.

Hi jonnyArTmac! I met you on another page on the forums! I like how you shared your story, especially about Communit College. I got good grades in high school, but I took the Community College route as well, and it’s the best decision I ever made. I didn’t feel like putting my family in debt 4 years at a University, when I could get my general education done at a CC. Anyways, it’s nice to have an animator here, and I hope you like the forums!

A BIG hello to everyone!
I wanted to start posting right away, but I didn’t want to be rude. I’m an average citizen, so there’s not much of interest to say about myself. I felt inspired to join the board because of a recent trip to DL California Adventure. I really do love the Pixar-ish theme they seem to have given this park. And the Hopper statue rocks.

RandomDrifter: Welcome! I’m glad you loved Disney California Adventure, it’s my favorite Disney park! I like to call it Pixarland, because as you said it has a Pixarishtheme. And most of the stuff are more Pixar related than California related. Did you see World of Color?

Welcome Randomdrifter! I think we might have met some time before yes? (Unless your username is a coincidence).

It’s kind of a shame how Disney treats its workers, because when I went there this summer I too enjoyed myself, and it does indeed seem to have a very Pixarish theme. We even saw the parade and got sprayed with water by CDA marchers.

Welcome to Pixar planet in any case!

I’m leaving PP for a while…not sure when I’m coming back. I need to set my priorities straight, and overall the site has become a distraction.
I’ve always felt a little isolated from the community but that doesn’t mean I won’t miss the site. I’ll still be on Twitter/FB, but most likely less active. You can still talk to me there though…

So yeah…

Bryko, I hope you come back soon, but at least you’ll be on twitter and facebook. And I know what you mean about this site being a distraction. Be sure to visit us, you are the most informative one here!

Goodbye for a while Bryko, Hope you don’y stay gone to long.

Aww, bye, Bryko. :frowning: Hurry back!

Aw, we’ll miss you Bryko!

Welcome to all the new members!! It’s great to see so many new faces around. You’ll love it here, it’s like a big family!

Hey everyone, long time no talk. Glad to see the forums/site look healthy and active.
