Hello everyone! I’m finally back! There are two main reasons that I haven’t been posting for the past month or so:

The obvious reason: school. I’ve been extremely busy lately with projects, exams, presentations, etc. The projects I did were actually pretty fun, mostly because I did a lot of programming and software design, which is what I love to do (I didn’t go into computer engineering for no reason
). -
Believe it or not, I gave up Pixar Planet for Lent… Being a devout Roman Catholic, you can trust me when I say that this is a HUGE compliment.
Unfortunately, despite the fact that Lent is over, I probably still won’t be able to post here very frequently over the upcoming month. I currently have two projects going on concurrently (still computer-based, which is great), and I still have to get through the dreaded final exam period. This semester hasn’t gone very smoothly for me compared to last semester, but at least I’m doing my best to get things done in a qualitative manner.
One last thing: welcome to the new members!
Well, seeing as I have already been flapping my gums on the forums, I am posting this a little too late…but better late than never, right? You can be positive I love Pixar, because I wouldn’t have joined the website if I didn’t! Status - teen, Texan, and a dreamer.
Ah, but I’m sure you’ll learn more about my “fabulous” personality through my constant talking, er, typing!

I’m off again on Sunday for ten days to Barbados. It’s a Tall Ships thing, where we basically have to work on a ship for the duration of our stay. It should be a pretty interesting experience (although it’s seriously impeding on my revision time, 17 exams coming up, eep) despite the fact that I get very seasick. I’ll probably be laying off PP for the next few days as well, so I’ll see you guys when I get back.

I’m new to the Pixar Planet and wanted to introduce myself.
I’ve always enjoyed Pixar’s work ever since I worked at a video store in the early 90’s.
There was a thing called a “LASERDISK” with many computer animated short films that we played on a “LASERDISK PLAYER”. and it had Luxo Jr. on it.
I never thought that that short film would become such an icon.
Anyway, I just want to say Hi.
