I mean really,they have Cars,socks,clothes,toys,cards,even Cars underwear! It seems like the the largest budget movie ever!
well, that’s the merchandise, not the budget. The budget is how much it costs to make the movie. Yeah, Cars does have alot though, but I can pretty much guarantees others have more. Star Wars for one. There is a Darth Vader toaster.

I would think that Mickey mouse would probably be the one to have the most merchandise in the world, there is nothing that doesn’t have his face plastered on the side

Yeah Cars is definitely not what I’d call a budget film. None of Pixar’s movies I would classify as budget films. Dont get me wrong, I’ve seen some budget films and some of them are pretty good. But making Pixar movies isnt cheap
DocKenobi explained it right. If anything, Cars may be Pixar’s biggest asset, rather than its liability.
