Like I said on my blog, Pixar can do whatever the heck they like, people will love it.
I am dissappointed by the sequelitis though…
I think an Up 2 would be disastrous. Where would it go?

Indeed! I have absolutely no idea what would make a really good plot for that.
Toy Story 4 can NOT happen. I do not want to see them sell out. Toy Story is complete. I might not see a TS4 if it comes to fruition. I hope the rumors are false.
A Bug’s Life 2 just has no purpose. I just don’t think it should happen. A Bug’s Life ended perfectly as a great movie. But if it did happen, I trust it would be for the story, since it never was a huge merchandising movie if I remember correctly.
Finding Nemo 2 would be a joke. There’s no way that would end (or start ) well. What would it be called? What would happen? He loses Nemo again? Or someone else? Or just the same characters in some new situation? If they come up with a story, it could maybe make a short, but this is another complete story.
The Incredibles 2, I can actually see happening. The first film was, well… Incredible. Pardon the lame pun. But even though there was drama and character development, the story is episodic. You can always bring the Incredibles back in to fight a new baddie. As long as there’s a good story and honor to the original, any sequel to this could work I think.
Cars 3 would be pretty cool. Even though I think the second was great, if a third one was done right it could improve on both films. And for the people who diss the first couple, a great conclusion could make up for them. I’d be excited for this. Between this and The Incredibles, Pixar has two great options for sequels.
Ratatouille 2 Ended perfect story; shouldn’t happen. All I have to say is, if this does happen, PLEASE call it Rata2ille.
Wall-E 2 Wall-E is one of the greatest movies of all time, if not THE greatest movie. Although it was left pretty open to a sequel, I think it is perfect and should not be changed at all with a sequel. I think behind Toy Story 4, I would least like Wall-E 2
Up 2 sounds like it would end up being called, Wht R U Up 2??! LOLOLOL. But seriously, it’s perfect; it doesn’t need anything more. Especially since the character has already gone through his change. I don’t see what would happen in a sequel that would be worth making.
I disagree with this. Just go to the Cars forum. There are many people there who don’t love Pixar’s most recent film, but dispise it.
No where but down.
Haha an Up sequel would have to be titled DOWN that would be epic.
Haha, maybe it’d be a Pixar version of Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Oooh, that sounds awesome!
I once did a parody poster like that. The sequel was called DOWN and instead of balloons, the house had Chain-shots that pulled it downwards
It must look good do you still have it?
Maybe, I should look for it.
Yes, I’d like to see it!
Sounds amazing, Spirit!
An Up, FN, Ratatouille, or Wall-E, or TS3 sequel would ruin my life.
However, I would die and go to Heaven(or, if I’ve been bad, purgatory) if an Incredibles 2 happened. <3
Amen to what you said IV.
Wall-E 2: NO. NO NO NO NO NO. That story is complete and ended really well. We really don’t need a sequel to this, it ended perfectly. That got my vote right away. shudders
Up 2: What can they do with this? The killed off Charles Muntz, so there’s no real antagonist anymore. They could have a plot with Russell’s father, but that sounds too much like Alladin and the King of Thieves to me.
Finding Nemo 2: Unless they cooked up something with the Tank Gang, then no. I actually did have an idea for something like it, where Nemo gets sick from his time in the tank and Marlin and Gill have to go looking for the cure (with Dory saying behind to take care of Nemo, haha), and calling it Saving Nemo, but that would be something best suited for a fanfic.
Ratatouille 2: They wrapped up the first one perfectly, so no.
TS4: I have some mixed feelings about this. TS3 was fantastic, but is it even possible to build upon something like that? Perhaps.
The Incredibles 2: Again, maybe. I’m not very well versed in the world of superheroes, but the potential is there. I’m sure that Pixar could cook up something really good with this.
This is exactlty how I feel.
I hope that Pixar doesn’t go for another sequel for quite some time seeing the critical reception that Cars 2 got. I can only imagine what Monster’s University is going to get. I was worried when I first saw Pixar’s slate from 10-13 because I thought that they would not be good like the first film like any sequel is and that they would be Pixar’s first flops. Instead I was wrong, both TS3 and Cars 2 have been very good sequels. I’m excited for Monsters University since I’m a big Monsters Inc fan. If any other Pixar film were to get a sequel, it should be The Incredibles.
Oh, man, can I say all? :S I don’t doubt the people at Pixar, like I said, but I was let down by Cars 2 (though I was not greatly anticipating it). I’m really not looking forward to Finding Nemo 2. And A Bug’s Life 2, The Incredibles 2, Ratatouille 2, Up 2, WALL-E 2? I feel these would be a bit overdone, since I think the movies ended on a really good note and were complete in themselves. Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 are, to me, the best sequels I have ever watched. But I feel the others would be far too much, including a Toy Story 4.
WALL-E may be my favorite, but I hope to the gods that they don’t make a sequel. I don’t want to risk it be spoiled, and it ended too wonderfully.
What would you guys think about a prequel/sequel for Brave? I don’t think that’s been discussed on here yet.
I hope there won’t be a sequel, it was just fine. But if Pixar thinks of a great, fantastic story to do that they can pull off, then I’d be interested!
