The Mundane Announcement of Our Podcast

Well, we got one

up, not on iTunes yet, but we’re working towards that. I’m sure when Dash gets the time he’ll make an official

announcement, but things have sort of been busy for all of us. So, you can give a listen to our podcast at

podomatic.com an use the RSS link there to subscribe via iTunes

until we get into the podcast section there. So, give it a listen, and let us know what you think!

Nice podcast!

Awaits more news on this podcast

BTW - Dash

sounds a little like Brad Bird hehehe.

Haha, I found

that site a few days ago on Google but it didn’t have anything on it then, so it was a little intriguing to me

but nothing else. This looks like it could be fun!

Love the use of music!

lol. My Pixar soundtrack collection was finally put to use…

Just listened to the podcast. All I can say is

excellent job. You all really worked hard on it. Now I really, really want to be part of this Podcast. I really

want to be involved. Please tell me if there is anything I can do.

Yeah, it’s not like you’re going to have any trouble finding people willing to take

part, but I’d love to be a part of some of the character discussions. Or if there’s absolutely nobody to

interview and you have nowhere else to turn.

That’s all up to Dash, so I have no say in it. I just record (and edit…) Any suggestions on

how to make it better?

Not realy. Not yet. Everything Dash said in the first podcast about involvement

and interviews I guess.

I would really like to be interviewed, but sadly, I don’t have a microphone, and

my family is too lazy to get one.

Cool!

I’ve been waiting for this (a Pixar podcast!). I haven’t listened to it yet but soon I shall.

Radio Pixar you guys did an excellent job!

A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

p.s when is your next

podcast?

I’m listening to the podcast right now. So far, I’m

very, very impressed with it. I’ve been waiting for a podcast dedicated to all things Pixar. The commentary and

news is excellent. Hopefully, the podcast will encourage more people to participate in the forums!

Hey guys! I know I’m horrible! I just started back to

classes so I’ve got no kind of set schedule! My appologies especially to AJD who’s worked soooo hard on this

all along! I’m so glad you guys like it! I’ve been super nervous about it. The first few shows will be a

little irratic in their posting thanks to getting scheduling and such to work - not to mention just flat out

getting used to it. We appreciate all the help we can get and anybody who’d like to help is more than welcome.

I know for sure we have at least one or two people who have previously expressed interest in such a podcast. We

want to make this thing great and the more people involved the better - esp since I’m no longer sure how big of

a role I will be able to play. Anyway, I’m soooo glad you guys liked it and please give any suggestions to make

it better for the future. Also - in answer to some questions, look for more info on the main Pixar Planet site.

I’ll be putting up the new pages devoted to the show in the next few hours. And thanks to bawpcwpn for the

compliment - you’re not the first person to tell me that and I love it (makes me feel special  ) - actually -

not to brag or anything but I do a killer Edna impression to boot.

I got around to listening and it’s a great podcast, expecially superb for a first! The music

and sound clips are all really great, and great editing. The only thing I would change editing-wise is the end in

the wrap-up where the music seems a little too loud in comparison to the talking. You want the wrap-up music to

really be background music- still audible yet not so distracting.

It was also great, content wise. There

was a lot of variety for what I would expect from a Pixar podcast… that meaning that Pixar is so secretive

about what they do, and it’s not so much the thing where there is new news every second of the day. I’m also

excited for what’s coming in future episodes…

I would also like to get involved, not heavily

because I have school to but maybe a few board discussions? That sounds like fun.

Sorry if I seem

critique…y. But I’m also pretty much obsessed with iTunes and I absolutely love podcasts. I mean, it’s free

entertainment to go! It’s awesome. I’ve seriously been waiting for a Pixar podcast for a long time, ever since

I did that first search on the music store and came up dry… :-D)

Keep up with the awesome work you

guys! I eagerly await the next episode!!

Jamie, Lew,

that’s the kind of critique we need! I’ll be sure to lower the volume on the wrap-up music for the next one.

I’m obsessed with iTunes as well, and can’t wait to submit our feed and show the world that Pixar Planet is the

#1 home for fans.

Do you have to have an iPod to get a podcast, or can it be downloaded to any MP3 player?

You should be able to download it to anything. I usually

download podcasts to my desktop and listen to them on the computer. XD I think you’ll be able to download it

to your hard drive and them move it onto your MP3 player with whatever software you normally use to manage your

music.

Glad I

could help! But honestly, it was a great episode. You know it’s a great episode when there’s music and clips,

and also when you feel like you’re listening to a couple of friends having a conversation on a Saturday

afternoon.

You don’t need an ipod to listen to podcasts (that would be sad). I think on the page it

says download so you can listen on your computer like Mell said. I’m not sure if you can get it onto a different

MP3 player though…? I heart my ipod and therefore know little of other MP3 players heheheh.

It’s just an ordinary .mp3 file, so I don’t see any reason why it

shouldn’t be able to be put on an MP3 player or a CD or what have you.

ok guys - after some tech problems I finally got the page up for Radio Pixar at

the main Pixar Planet site. Just follow the links. There’s also been updates to our FAQ page for the show and

our staff page to reflect AJD’s involvement. Take a look around and tell me what you think and please let me

know if you find any bugs!

I don’t know if it’s just my

computer but in th FAQs section the little links to jump the page to the section you want don’t seem to work.

The page reloads and I can see the URL address change but it doesn’t jump down.
