The Muppets

I love the Muppets. My Favorite Muppet is none other then Kermit the

Frog.

That takes me

back. My favourites are Statler and Waldor (the two old guys).

The best muppet movie is Muppet

Treasure Island, and my favorite muppets are Gonzo, Rizzo, and Fozzie. Wokka, wokka, wokka!

I lost my

Fozzie action figure in the ocean when I was very young. It’s one of my most depressing childhood memories.

Maybe it washed up on Muppet Treasure Island. It was one of my muppet treasures.

Yea I love Muppet Treasure Island its my favorite Muppet

movie.

Omg I had a muppet phase when I was in 6th/7th grade… except it was mostly Kermit the Frog

fangirl-ness. I had shoelaces that had Kermit on them. Heheh.

And one time I was at an amusement park and

I had payed to play one of those street games with throwing a ball and racing a horse… yeah. Well I went on 3

different machines and everytime it would be broken. So I got a Kermit doll for free. Kinda… I did have to

pay to play…

I LOVE Muppet Treasure Island! All the songs and

cool characters…It just rocks! And Rizzo is so funny.

I always liked Kermit and

the gang but for some crazy reason Beaker was my fav. And everytime I hear Fungus on MI, I catch every

hint of Ms. Piggy in him.

Haha – the Muppets! It’s been too

long… 8D

Well, my favorite character has always been Gonzo, for some reason. Rizzo comes in at a

close second…

And since I’ve – unfortunately – never seen the Muppet Treasure

Island movie, I would have to say that my favorite Muppets film would be The Muppet

Christmas Carol. Dog-gone hilarious!

The original show looked hilarious, but I

always find the movies annoying for some reason. Too many songs, I always hated that about Disney movies and

other movies with lots of songs.

I always liked this one really old

Christmas special they did one time that involved not just the Jim Henson muppets, but also the muppets of Sesame

Street and even the ones from Fraggle Rock. Really big crossover thing. Shame I don’t know the name to it.

Anyone remember??

Hmm…that sounds familar. I think I saw it,

actually! Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of it, either.

The Muppet Christmas Carol was really good and the Muppet Show was funny! Although I havent

seen the Muppet Show in years, since it was on the Disney Channel.

My favorite Muppet

projects started with ā€œMuppets Tonight,ā€ which aired back in 96-98ish… such as "Muppets

Tonight," ā€œMuppets From Space,ā€ and ā€œA Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie.ā€ At this

point, I think the writing got more modern, and totally my kind of humor. I adore Pepe, because of his accent and

how he gets some of the best lines. I’m always laughing when Pepe opens his little mouth. Oh, and Bobo rocks,

too.

Did anyone see the show where Miss Piggy would go around, interviewing (or

rather, insulting) famous people? I have a vague memory of Miss Piggy and that woman from The Vicar of Dibley

sitting on a bed, and Miss Piggy telling her what a bad actress she was…

I was also a big fan of Muppet

Babies . . . man, did they have spoofs on Star Wars!!

And Back

to the Future I think they spoofed once as well!

Oh yeah! Muppet babies! wow, that brings back memories…

Frank Oz (voice of some of the Muppet characters) who voiced a character in Monster Inc, did an

excellent job voicing his character. I hope to see him in another Pixar film very soon.

What do you guys

think, do you think he should be in another Pixar film?

JV IS

TIZ!!! - Ah yes, I do recall that. Frank Oz voiced Fungus, Randall’s ā€œassistantā€, in

Monsters Inc..

I definitely think that he should return to the Pixar

studio sometime soon. His performance was excellent in Monsters Inc.; I think we

would all like him back one of these days.

Oh, I adore Frank

Oz. A brilliant actor. And he really brought Fungus to life- apparently, the session that he and Steve Buscemi

shared whilst voicing a scene for Monsters, Inc. was a very entertaining couple of hours, according to Buscemi.

 As for Frank being in another Pixar film, it sounds like a possibility, as in the 40 Greatest Comedy Movies

Countdown recently, Frank said on Toy Story, ā€˜working with Pixar was great fun,’ or something along those

lines, so who knows?

I’ve been a fan of the Muppets for as long as I can

remember. Animal’s my personal fave. I’ve got a huge doll of him in my room
