Under: Epic Movie. I hated it, but I’ve seen worse.

Over: Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Under: Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (Part 4…pssh…I know right?)
Movies that made your brain hurt, or at least made you think.
Over: Memento. I just didn’t like it as much as I thought I would.
Under: Run Lola Run
Movies that have minimal setting, for example, Devil takes place in an elevator, Phonebooth takes place in a phonebooth, and 12 Angry Men takes place in a single room.
Over: The Man from Earth, still a pretty good movie though
Under: L’emmerdeur, the 2008 remake
