Great find!!!

This has been referenced by Pixar so many times. So nice to finally see it.

Aww…poor widdle pencil…

Thanks for sharing this!

JF: ah, cool video! i loved watching it. Thanks for the link dude.

Aw, I finally saw it, ish cute!

Yay, it hasn’t been posted yet!!!
I think it’s AMAZING, considering the year it was made. (My birthyear  )

Haha – how cool! What a cute little film. I see that Andrew Stanton was working with John way back then… Makes perfect sense.

Great find, JesusFreak!

Oh yeah, I’ve seen that one before. Poor little pencil…!

It’s so sweet! I feel sorry for the little pencil. Nice find, JesusFreak!

Heh. See, the very fact that you all feel sorry for the pencil connotates that John could captivate his audience from the very beginning! Smart man…

I

agree with ya Mitch. But then again, John was a genious even way before the begining.

The Star

Swordsman - Heheh – exactly. It’s interesting to note how far Pixar itself has come as far as

development and ingenuity is concerned. Way back in the good ol’ days, the crew only had a single computer to

work with; and yet, they still managed to convey a rather charming little story out of a simple – albeit

effective – idea. Now look how far their dreams have evolved…

Not only their dreams, but the while thing in general.

Yeah I’ve seen that before. Even though the animation has improved since then,

I imagine it would have been impressive back then, considering it was made on a home computer.

Mitch,TSS-You got that right!

Thanks for posting that, JF!

Lol, “Pencil Test”…

Lasseter is so clever. Is there anything he can’t give emotion to?
I love how the pencil turned the computer on. Smart little guy…

Hey, that’s my birthyear too!

Same here! I love it when I see things made in 1988. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is one of my favorite short films. When I saw it, I wanted to switch to a Mac.
