The Photography Thread

Oh, i remember this game system. I remembered playing it

when i was so young. Thanks for the photos nightwheel.

nightweel - Hehe, I have one of those too, and I also have the

“Sonic 2” game! I remember playing it with my brother when we were younger.

Sega was pretty cool…But not as

cool as the SNES! :sunglasses: Thanks Nightwheel!

That is one old gaming system. I seem to remember it. Thanks, nightweel .

Somewhere I got Toy Story 1 game for it.

And I got some pics i would like to show. But there is a slight problem. A few of the pics I want to show have pistols, sub-machine guns, and fully auto machine guns. Would it be ok to post them PV or not? The pics are from my familys vaction we took a few weeks ago. The guns in the pics belonged to my uncle and and his son(which is also my cousin). And they had licenses to own them guns.

Those pictures are really big. I feel sorry for anyone viewing this thread who doesn’t have broadband. Anyway, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 would have to be one of my favourite games ever. Except over here, the Sega Genesis was called “Mega Drive”.

:sunglasses:

Where do you live? Japan or England?

France is where you live.

Look at her location carefully nightwheel.

OK, I can’t help myself, I gotta show you guys this:

It’s Rio de Janeiro, from my last summer’s trip to Brazil. Now don’t tell me that view isn’t gorgeous!

Maggie - What a spectacular view! It almost makes me want to go there at this very moment. Goodness knows I could use a vacation right about now… (snigger)

Thanks for sharing that with us! 'Tis refreshing.

Maggie - Believe it or not, for someone who has never been outside the US of A, Rio de Janeiro would be the first place I’d go if I landed a free vacation. Thank you so much for sharing that!

That view is breathtaking. I love how you can see the buildings, then the sea, then the islands and clouds. Where was it taken from?

rachel - This photo was taken from the top of the Corcovado hill, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is situated.
One minor detail, the “island” you’re refering to is not actually an island, it’s a peninsula (I guess! ). The bigger hill is the Sugar Loaf, and this photo was taken from the top of it:

In this one, the clouds are covering the Corcovado hill, so you can’t see the statue.

Maggie- What a view! It’s so beautiful…And there’s so much detail, so much to see!

If you are not afraid of heights, I recommend this ride on the Sugar Loaf cable car:

On the other hand, if you are afraid of heights… Well, I was too, but really enjoyed the ride!

If you guys are interested, I have more photos from Brazil in my dA gallery.

Oh, and don’t give me credit for those pictures, it was my brother who took them. ;-p

Maggie - Dude, that is beyond awesome! I’m a big lover of heights, so this would be the perfect vacation for me!

Thanks goes to your brother for taking the picture; thanks goes to you for posting them! Heheh.

Thanks, Mitch! Indeed, I did have a great time in Brazil, and Rio was my favorite city. It was wonderful… sigh

So… you like heights, uh? In that case, this one is for you! :stuck_out_tongue:

Taken from inside the cable car (better known over there as “bondinho”)

That is so…cool, dude!! Man, I wanna go so bad!

Oh, and you’re welcome!
