I’m sure I’m not the only
one who loves this little vehicle. Let’s see if my predictions are correct… ![]()
Where to
Find that Elusive Truck:
Toy
Story - Woody and Buzz are transported to Pizza Planet by way of the Pizza Planet
truck.
A Bug’s Life - The “city” where
Flick travels on his search for warrior bugs is situated next to a trailer. Next to the trailer is the Pizza
Planet truck.
Toy Story 2 - The toys chase after Al,
who is on his way to the airport, via an unattended Pizza Planet truck.
Monsters
Inc. - Near the end of the film, Randall is evicted from the Monster World when he
is flung through a closet door – by Mike and Sulley – and into the same trailer that we see in A
Bug’s Life. And next to this trailer is, of course, the Pizza Planet
truck.
Finding Nemo - At the very end of the movie,
when Philip Sherman discovers that the tank gang has escaped, the camera pans down and out of the window to the
busy street that Gill and his troop dared to cross. It is difficult to spot, but the Pizza Planet truck can be
found zooming across this street, if one looks carefully enough.
The
Incredibles - As of today, I have not yet spotted this elusive truck in Pixar’s
hit film, The Incredibles. It is rumored to have been seen speeding along a high-way
at the end of the film.
Cars - The Pizza Planet
truck comes to life in Pixar’s newest film, Cars, and can be seen twice during the
movie: At the beginning race (in one of the VIP boxes, I believe), and during the second race near the end of the
film (in the backround near Bob and Darrell).
Ratatouille - Yet to be confirmed/reported.
If anyone has any information regarding the sighting of the truck in The
Incredibles, please let me know. In the mean-time, feel free to discuss topics of thought and
opinions concerning the Pizza Planet truck in this thread.
To make things easier, I will
refer to the Pizza Planet truck as “Rocket”, which is the name that my sister gave it.
