Yeeeaaaahh, they are starting to sound like a bunch of bored 15 year-olds. Given that there are thousands of people out there who can hack into people’s accounts and steal their passwords, and these people seem to think very highly of themselves that they can do that, and thus don’t seem that smart. I kinda laugh at their notion that they are a force to be reckoned with. You can get people’s passwords? GASP! It’s almost like you can use a mystical force called a COOKIE GRABBER, which can give you someones passwords by just having that person go to a link with one, and you get all their info, but how can that be possible? It’s not like thousands of people knowingly use them on sites as simple and kid-orientated as Neopets!
But yes, anyone who laughs at ruining someone like that on the internet is horrible. And yes, there are some wackos in there who can do damage. But, still, all I’m saying is that the reason they can get your password isn’t that much of a threat.
Maybe you should actually… I dunno… try visiting their forum so you can actually have a clue about what you’re talking about instead of just second hand information.
lol C’mon, you, a Pixar Planet member, are not seriously supporting an organization dwelling in ‘adult-oriented’ materials, are you? Even if they are not committing any ‘real crimes,’ what they do is still pretty unnecessary and destructive, especially to the Internet, of course.
Well, I’ve browsed both /v/(Video Games), /tv/(TV and Movies) and /b/(Random), and although they may be a little easy to anger, the majority of them seem to only be able to rig polls, like they did in TIME magazine, making ‘moot’ (The founder of 4chan) the most influential person of the year.
The other boards on 4chan seem to hate /b/, and even mock the concept of Anonymous of being dangerous, the most common insult being “LOLOLOL ANONYMOUS IS LEEJUN AND 4CHON IS SEEKRIT CLUB”. This does not stop /b/ from attempting to spam the other boards, but in most cases they don’t do anything serious. There’s actually an entire wiki where they at least attempt to justify theirs and other people’s actions.
Lulz is a seperate concept from lols. Think of shadenfreude.
