Just about an hour ago, I was surfing YouTube, and I caught on with this seemingly hilarious video that was flaming another member of YouTube. It seemed like plain satire, so I couldn’t help laughing at it, too.
However, it turned out to be something darker.
So, after watching the video, I got a little interested, so I did a little search on YouTube under the impression that it’s just another member of it. However, it turned out to be another whole entire thing altogether.
Sounds like an awful experience, nightwheel; I’m sorry to hear that.
But that emphasize even more why we need to put a stop to these people.
Edit:
Due to a warning given by nightwheel, I’ve decided that it’s best if I keep this thread open for only a short while before having the mods delete it. I’ll be keeping this thread open till this weekend, so post fast.
I haven’t seen that video in a while but it’s still just as hilarious. Amazing how little research these “action news” journalists do. Anyone who thinks ‘Anonymous’ is anything more then a gaggle of internet nerds (yes, with the occasional nut job) shooting the breeze has spent no time at all there. Though granted, they do enjoy a hearty laugh at anything. Nothing’s sacred there.
Hm, I see. Then, would nightwheel clear to explain to use the actions the group had dealt to you, if you don’t mind? Just so that we could clarify that this, supposed ‘terrorist group’ is harmless.
Ok my dealing with the anon (short for anonymous) come from 711Chan. Now most other anon don’t see 711 Chan as real anon. But as a group of people who are ruining their name. See this video on anons thought of 711Chan: youtube.com/watch?v=_B6fdFknDio
Now here is my experience:
They were at first only going after my friend, retromaster. For reasons I think had to do with his Anti-Cyber Bulling site he created at one point called “The 11 Taskforce”. Then they branched out and started going after him and his closest friends, which included me and one other person. But then they eased up on his other friend and started to go after me and retro with some force. 2 or 3 days before the attack happend. People started to spread a fake and dangrous lie about me and retro on some sites including EBUAMLS World. The reason that the lie was so dangerous was because if someone took the lie seriously. It could of caused serious legal trouble for me. I talk about the lie in a bit.
I did warn a few sites including here about the possibility I might get hacked. That possibility later came to become a reality.
On the night of Wednesday, February the 13. The major attack happened to me and all heck broke lose. The only thing that the attackers did not find out about me was my Full address and what I look like. The did however learn what city I lived in and what My first name was.
All my sites were hacked. And my passwords and usernames for those sites were revealed. The good news was that none of the forums I started were hacked. Until in July when the forum for my now defunct Stargate fansite was attacked.
And on top of that. One of my main emails was hacked and the pass changed. I found out later what they changed my password to. The attacker then added a email contact titled “Porn Master” to my contact list and sent that contact a email. Then sent a email to all of my contacts I had for that email account. (Among the contacts was my Nintendo Wii.) Luckly, I was able to change my password for my main email and regain control of it.
Then someone hacked my acount at the benheck.com forums. Resulting of me getting Temporarily Banned because the hacker posted racial slurs and images in a topic he made using my account. They also hacked my Smash Boards account and got me banned there. And I tried for days to get unbanned there but no dice.
They also hacked my AIM account. Which didn’t take long to get back in control of. They also tried to change my password on my youtube account and gain control of it. But by the time they got around to trying to change my youtube password. I had already regained control of my main email which the account is registered to.
While all of this was happing, I did some damage prevention on some other sites. Luckly, they didn’t bother my account here at PP.
A few weeks later, they hacked into another one of my emails. But I quickly got back in control of that one. Due to it having alot more information on other sites I was a member at.
Now about the lie I was talking about. The lie they tried to spread stated that me and retro were child molesters. Not a good lie you want someone spreading about you and someone else.
So thats my experience. Now I’m not saying that all anon are bad. Some of them are good people. But there are some out there who will harm in some manor.
I have to say this is EXTREMELY exaggerated. Most anons are good civilllians. there are some sickos, but that’s the world. I do not support the bad anons. but most of 4chan (except /b/) is civillised.
Okay, let’s make this thread a little more meaningful then, shall we? Why not let us discuss the subject the Anon was supposedly protesting so violently against; Scientology.
Check out this site (only if you are above 16 due to some disturbing scenes): theunfunnytruth.ytmnd.com/
It’s about some supposed truth about Scientology, how it is a cult that actually took many lives… anonymously.
whistles I wouldn’t call these people a “gang”. It’s to low. They should call them a terrorist group. I mean, WOW! They must be absolute computer GENIUSES! It’s scary how some of the smartest people in the world are ones who want to hurt people. And for fun! What kind of sick, twisted mind can do that and sleep at night?
Edit: Now that I’ve read the comments, I kinda agree that the news blows things out of proportion for veiwers. Still, they aren’t just a bunch of bored computer nerds. These people can DO things.
I agree that it’s a little blown out, but anyone that has that kind of power and messes with people’s lives isn’t normal. “They do this for lulz?”. It’s just not funny. They say they laugh at death, too. What’s wrong with these people…
The internet allows for people to do and say what they really think without any repercussions. Hence the rise of many freaky fetishes to popular culture.
I had ran through another series of videos made by the Anonymous a while ago, and I must say that I am indeed quite intimidated, and for very substantial reasons.
For example. The voice in the video claimed that, according to the transcript they posted on the video description, they are dominating the entire Internet and they claimed to have power over it, making it seem like they are a threat to be reckoned with.
Here’s the transcript posted for your better judgment. It was posted as a response to a supposedly fraud who had claimed himself as an ex-Anonymous member.
It is true that their supposed ‘power’ is spreading. People are supporting Anonymous, and the Internet seriously doesn’t need one more mental terror added to the many flames and insecurities.
If the Anonymous is reading this, I just have one thing to say: I do not forget. I do not forgive.
I have friends. I live a thousand miles from the US.
What you gonna do, crapface?
One more thing, in case you are thinking about leaving death threats at my home. If you do that, I’ll make this a big issue internationally. Sure, first it only involves the cops (who are extremely stringent in this country, FYI), but then the Press starts to get curious (and we know how noble our Singapore media is). And when things start to get big, that’s when we strike. I don’t care if there’s gonna be a war. If there needs to be a war to stop your Anonymous war, then so be it.
I bid you good luck, Anonymous.
Oh, and before I go, here’s how big this terrorist (I reemphasize, terror-rist) group is. Here’s Oprah on the Anonymous (not really NC-16 unless you consider the scientific term of your peeing organ a profanity): youtube.com/watch?v=7liYfhRg … re=related
Here’s another video featuring one of their attacks. This is a very substantial evidence as to why they should be stopped. youtube.com/watch?v=kl2K7DZ6 … lture.html
