At first I said I would wait for the DVD, but the trailers are funny, and I think i’ll make an exception and go see it at the theaters (mostly because of Homer’s pig). I really think that this movie should have came out around 10 years ago. Don’t get me wrong, I love The Simpsons. The show came out a little bit before I was born and my parents watched it, so I’ve been watching this show my whole life. I just think they should have released a movie when the show was in it’s prime and didn’t have to compete with shows like Family Guy or South Park, but better late than never.
LOL. I think in the trailer, Spider-Pig is sooooo… funny! 
Only a week (or a little more) left! Who here is excited?
“Excited” is an understatement of how I feel. Seriously, I have been waiting for this movie for years and the fact that I only have to wait one more week is absolutely killing me.
Has anyone seen that Simpsons family display at their cinema? It’s really cool.
Oh yes, I’ve seen it. There was a story about two guys stealing the Homer off of the display because they wanted a piece of the movie before it hit the theaters.
We haven’t got one of those - they took it down to replace it with the Ratatouille 3D display, even though Ratatouille isn’t coming out for months. Strange, but I’m not complaining - it looks so cool!
The Simpsons comes out when I’m away, annoyingly, but at least when I do see it when I come back, the cinemas shouldn’t be as packed. It looks hilarious - the trailers are great, and on Richard and Judy, they had Matt Groening as a guest star and they showed some really funny exclusive clips, which made me even more excited!
Heh. Heh. Cool. Being the big geek that I am, I got a photo taken with the Simpsons. I think someone stole the remote control from Homer Simpson’s hand at our local cinema. 
But I would swap the Simpsons display for the 3-D [i]Ratatouille[/u] display at the drop of a hat.
What does the Ratatouille 3-D display look like, lizardgirl?
It’s the picture with Remy and the knives but the knives are 3D; sorta sticking out.
I can’t wait for The Simpsons Movie! Me and a friend are going; we absolutely cracked up on the Spider-Pig part of the trailer!
I have seen it. I stared at it for five minutes while waiting for Ratatouille.

Oh, we have that 3-D Remy and the knives display at our cinema, too. Except it’s sort of hidden away, and they haven’t brought it out to the front yet.
Saw it today. I laughed from the beginning to the end. Funniest movie of 2007 so far for me
Homer’s first lines are priceless.

Two of my friends took the day off school today to see three sessions of it. Lucky. 
UPDATE: Loved it. Extremely funny and a solid storyline. Favourite film this year so far (haven’t seen Ratatouille yet, so that will take #1 I expect).
I’ve seen The Simpsons on TV, and I think the movie will be pretty funny from seeing the TV spots.
Went to the midnight showing and loved it. Definitely want to see again in theaters at some point. And some of the theater gags like at the beginning and in the credits were pretty great, especially Homer’s “Everyone’s a sucker for paying to see something they get for free on TV, especially you. (points to audience)”
I just saw it (which is why I haven’t been on the boards at all today), and it was just spetacular. The jokes and humor were classic. I was basically screaming in the theater. The animation is jaw-dropping.
