The Snow Thread!

that must’ve been bad!

I had AC in my house Mitch, but outside was unbearable.

Speaking of which, I believe the last time I was in snow was aabout seven years ago, when I was in middle school.

that is unlucky.

It snowed prety hefty here last week, but now all we have is rain :frowning: I like snow more tough as does my dog!

kool!

Off-Topic: WALL-E: Be careful of having short one word posts, or even 3 word posts. That’s spamming. I suggest to expand your posts a little more in content.

Vekoma: Oooh, wow. I love the picture of your dog with the snow. I think the little bit of snow on your dog’s nose is very adorable.

Well, I’m glad that you guys had air conditioning, as I don’t remember whether or not my family did at the time. We probably had it, but it was still blazing hot.

Vekoma - Heheh. I love your dog. He’s/She’s adorable.

My wish is this Christmas it would be clousy at least. I’m getting tired of hot days when it is winter.

sometimes it’s sunny but cold on christmas here.

I wish it will be cold on Christmas here.

Yeah, I’ll admit, if there’s one single time of the year where I actually like the weather here, it’s around Christmas. For once, the weather suits the time of the year and actually makes sense!

it rains, on average about 250 days a year here.

It’s a he, his name is Max a 3 year old labrador.

Ewww, really?

I’m getting used to the cold again here. Well, trying to anyway. I’m really missing season-less, 70-degree LA winters right now!

As you can tell, you don’t see much frozen precipitation in Singapore, Malaysia or Australia. I saw falling snow for the first time on my Eastern Europe trip on the final day (namely, yesterday). Talk about saving the best for last! It was beautiful as we travelled the last leg from Innsbruck to Lucerne to Zurich, all the cars were covered in a layer of snow, and the ice-peaked mountains looked spectacular! Once I’ve downloaded the pics, I may post them up, time permitting. But needless to say, it was magical!

Yes, but man-made snow’s better than no snow. It’s a shame I’ve never been to Snow City. :frowning:

Up in Big Bear Mountain at my church’s winter retreat, I sank thigh-high in snow!
Plus, I had a dream it snowed right outside my house (my wish came true!) but I never got to play in it, or even touch it.
Why?
Because a volcano came out of nowhere.

it snowed last night but by 2am it had all gone! But it’s -3.5c now, and this morning I Tipped some water on the ground outside and within a minute it was the consistency of slush puppy!

It’s actually freezing here. OMGZ.

No snow yet, though. Darn you, WALL-E, and your superior geographical location!

im barnsley it had snowed even more!
