The Snow Thread!

I took this picture 5 minutes ago!

Wow, snow! It looks so beautiful. I wish I had snow here where I lived, but nooooooooooooooo. It had to be sunny 95% of the year. Still, really cool, litteraly.

I couldn’t get to school!

From the look of the cars, it looks like it’s just the result of flurries. But I could be wrong.

I hope it doesn’t snow whilst I’m in school - it’s no fun to tread across campus in snow. x_x

I got to school at 10:00 exactly.

Ithe picture is blurry so you can’t get a good Idea of what it is.

Ah, I thought you might’ve had a bit of snow, WALL-E. Saw it on the news this morning. We didn’t get any- just plenty of rain and gales.

Last Sunday it snowed all day. It almost was melted by Tuesday but then yesterday afternoon a bit.

Yeah, same here, M-O. We got quite a bit (2 - 3in.) this Monday, although most of it’s gone now. It snowed for a little bit today but it wasn’t accumulative.

Lucky… Yeah, I saw that snow in England on the news today. I’ve always wanted a white Christmas, made especially unlikely by the fact that our Christmas is during Summer.

lol. I should rename this to the snow thread.

I know what you mean, rachelcakes. The closest I’ve seen to snow is when hail got so thick that it was gathering at the bottom of the fence in the backyard.

We get NO snow around here…just rain…but we do have some of the best sunsets in the west…but i still wish we got snow down here.

The stupid thing around here is - I think it has to be ten inches before our schools close. :stuck_out_tongue: It’s always the ones that we go to that never close, and then every other stupid school on the stupid island is closed. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, we got some pretty heavy snow about two or three years ago, I think, but our school still opened whilst other local schools shut. Though, to be honest, we still spent the whole day rolling around in the snow and bringing snow indoors to throw at teachers.

same, 150 schools shut in our area, yet ours still opened -.-

I love snow. I was born during a snowstorm, so that may have been what made me like it so much. xD
But I remember, as a little kid, crying when I found out we had to move to a place where there would be no snow except in the mountains.
I recently had a dream where all of a sudden a miracle happened and it snowed right where I lived while it was so sunny! I was so disappointed when woke up. :frowning:
However, luckily, my church has a winter retreat coming soon, and some of us get to go to the mountains!
Yeah, you get the idea. I love snow.

WALL-E - Hey, that’s pretty neat!

I wish that we got snow here in California, but, alas, it was never meant to be. You have to take a four to eight hour drive up into the mountains just to see ice.

Do you remember that 85 degree Christmas a few years back, The Star Swordsman? It was terrible. :stuck_out_tongue:

– Mitch

it rarely gets to 85F in the peak of summer here!

Mitch: Let me put it this way. Instead of snow falling on my face on Christmas, I had sweat falling from my face.

The Star Swordsman - Puh-ha! I know. Wasn’t it terrible? I could barely open the presents ‘cause it was freakin’ burning inside the house.
