I’ve known about this for quite a while, but I never thought to tell you guys about it until today, the day the trailer was released. I’m just gonna let the trailer speak for itself: [url]The Suite Life Movie Trailer - Coming March 25 - Disney Channel Official - YouTube
I never really liked Suite Life. I thought that the characters are just ridiculous.
“We may be twins…but we are not brothers.”
That may be in the running for the worst line in history.
Who came up with this? I hate it when Disney shows get the movie treatment from a director/screenwriter who has no idea what the show is like. Not to mention I could see the Indiana Jones 3 references before they even happened…
-It looks like it’s going to be another Disney Channel movie so bad it’s incredibly funny.
Oh, oh goodness. Where do I begin?
Admittedly, as much as I hate Disney Channel, and it may be the nostalgia goggles talking, but the original show (Suite Life of Zack and Cody) was not that bad. It had its funny moments, and it had heart, while not being too gimmicky. Then Deck started, and it was just unwatchable. Now this…I never really realized it before, but while Dylan Sprouse (though this may be just because his only job is to spew one liners, unlike Cole who has to actually try and sound dramatic) is okay, Cole Sprouse cannot act to save his life. And the boys taking part in some weird government science experiment? And I thought Deck was when they jumped the shark…
Couldn’t the movie just be about them returning home after one last (relatively simple) adventure and say goodbye to their deck friends? And oh, after seeing Brenda Song in The Social Network doing actually pretty well, its just sad to see her doing London again for the what, sixth year?
LOL, Brenda Song in The Social Network traumatized my sister’s life. Actually, that’s not really funny.
Oh yeah, because when I think two twin brothers’ shenanigans on a cruise ship/hotel, I think a supernatural “wierd science” premise that goes beyond that. Several episodes also have that problem. Sometimes they can’t even make regular, basic episodes and just pull out some out of the ordinary bullc**p like repeating the same day over and over through the international date line, or a super intelligent robot controlling the cruiseship and being able to make emotions AND being able to make a robot so it fan roam about while also controlling the ship. Lazy writing or intelligent plots?
Okay, maybe the movie can get away with “weird science”, but I still stand by it for the episodes. As the movie, I’m not really interested.
