This just happened to me tonight afetr I watched the debate (GO PALIN!!!)
But really, all politics aside, here goes:
We’ve had this crazy awesome arcade bowling game in our basement for a fey years now, and my dad fixed it up just a month ago and it runs like new. Tonight, after the debate, two of the nicest deaf guys you ever met came over to claim their ebay winnings. My dad has had trouble finding a job lately and he also accidentaly messed up some ebay stuff to where these guys got the game for 99 cents. So also with all this news going around, I thought my dad would be angry at these guys for their not being able to speak well. Also, this game is a witch to trasport by hand, so I thought that would make him even more mad. But he was as nice as could be, all smiles, and when one of the guys came over to pay him, he gave him $50.00 instead of getting it for almost nothing. I was so impressed with my father’s attitude and kindness towards these guys that I just felt compelled to share. It was such a nice story of beautiful consideration and trust on both sides, and I was extremely glad to see that happen especially with all the bad news we’ve been getting lately.
