Things that can be improved about Toy Story 3

I hate how everybody thinks I’m a troll just cause I don’t respect some people

Hey, have you reported the clown yet? I’d really like to get him banned. He is trolling every topic.

I’m still waiting to learn what I did where I need to be banned.

Yes, she did and I mod took care of it. Let’s just drop the topic now before people get more upset, kay?

Clearly she didn’t as I didn’t get so much as a message. Perhaps the mods too realize I am doing nothing wrong, other than, GASP, not agree with everyone else!

I agree. I really believe it’s time to drop it. It’s not worth getting the topic closed or being all yelled at.

Yeah, please stop it, HaloCod. Everyone’s moved on since my last post. You can have a different opinion from someone else, but still respect them.

Out of curiosity what did you find ‘distasteful’ about Spanish Buzz? It was very well-received in Spain and Spanish speaking countries so I’m confused. Also, comparing a pre-teen girl in Bolt to toddlers in TS3 is idiotic.

I’m sure this can be written in a less offensive manner.

Everyone in this forum is so sensitive. Seriously, him saying that is offensive?

Absolutely. Its a provocative statement.

Saying someone or their ideas are idiotic is pretty offensive.

Maybe not offensive, but its certainly rude.

True. But I know I get mildly offended when someone says my ideas are idiotic.

lol, i do too.

SO, UHM. i was going to try to awkwardly change the subject but then i couldn’t think of anything remotely interesting to bring up, so methinks we should just get back to talking about what the thread title indicates.

I JUST /HAD/ TO I’M SORRY. D:

Thank you bits&pieces!

That’s an awesome screencap, bitsandpieces!!

Anyway, I think a less dramatic, drawn out ending would have been great. Just my thoughts.

aw, thanks. :'DD

anyway, i actually agree with that. i didn’t think the ending was exactly /depressing/, per se, but it came with this kind of inevitable bittersweetness to it. not that i’ve got anything against bittersweet, but i just felt kind of tired and upset leaving the theater. like thedriveintheatre said a while back, the last like, 15-30 minutes of the film were kind of painful to watch.

at least, that’s how it was for /me/.

i guess my main problem with the film was lotso and his /motivations/, but that’s already been discussed, so. i don’t know, maybe it’s just because this film was following ratatouille, wall-e, & up. maybe it’s just because i felt this one was pretty inferior to the first two toy story films. i dunno. really, i’m still trying to collect my inner ramblings, lol.

I agree completely. I had the Lotso problem, the depressing problem, and the fact that this movie will never compare to TS2 in my mind.

I appreciate a more constructive response to this topic, but your first post was just a re-hash of your Toy Story 3 bashings from your previous thread.

Though, to answer the question, I’d like to see more old characters. Sid and Zurg were great touches (even I was surprised, although Zurg wasn’t the same one from Toy Story 2). Prospector wasn’t mentioned, but they gave us the notion that he actually had a happy ending with his new owner. I have NO IDEA what happened to the mutant toys, and Andy’s older toys aren’t featured. Most of them seen in Toy Story 2 are seen again, but I would’ve liked to know more. Oh well, I guess that would’ve interfered with the pacing of the movie. Al was originally going to be mentioned, be we can kinda assume that he continued running Al’s Toy Barn, hopefully learning a few lessons.

The ending was great. At first, I got to thinking that it was going to happen again once Bonnie grows up, but what the toys all learned here have made them more prepared, and they’ve accepted whatever happens.
