Wow! Yesterday you have not one toy from the TSC and now you have more than me!
Yeah, if it weren’t for the Toys R Us sale and having an unused credit card to put them all on, I probably would have only gotten Woody and Buzz. Actually, originally I was only planning on getting the $30 Buzz and Woody, but after comparing them with the Collection versions I ended up caving and getting them. 
something I noticed on buzz in the first two toy story films is above his front space ranger sticker is a plastic tab connect to the helmet with little grooves on it i guess for whenever his helmet is in his suit, you can grip it to pull it out. here’s a good photo of it:
but in the the third one it seems to turn into a tab with no grooves.
has anyone noticed the tab before? every buzz toy I seen doesn’t have a tab on him.
Near as I can tell, the tab does retain its grooves in Toy Tory 3. They are visible in the various artwork of Buzz on the Toy Story Website.
Also, as far as I’m aware no Buzz figure has ever featured that tab on the helmet, but the upcoming Sci-Fi Revoltech Buzz figure does feature it. I believe it is the first figure to do so.
To be honest, I’m a little disappointed that the TSC Buzz doesn’t have the tab. Not sure why they’d leave it off, given how accurate it is otherwise.

As for why they don’t put them on the toys, I’ll tell ya why. because it looks stupid when you open the helmet half way. in the movies this inst an issue because it can go all the way back so you cant see it. but on the toy it would look like this.

I’m getting there. I still need Hamm, Slinky, Rex, Bullseye, the aliens, soldiers, and (maybe) the Potato Heads.
Also, after having Woody for not even two nights, he’s already getting stress marks on his stand where it attaches to his neck.
i’m getting annoyed with the fact that Bullseye hasn’t come out yet. i haven’t heard anything about a planned release date and i’d rather that bullseye came out taking Lotso’s place because it would make more since for Lotso to come out after TS3. Any one agree?
Oh and P.S. @ Kyle about Buzz’s patches they are supposed supposed to glow so you’d be better off with the glow in the dark paint
I’m pretty sure it’s just connect the helmet to the chestpiece so that it doesn’t move around during play. The original Thinkway Buzz was like that, and the helmet would always open and close whenever tilted. The newer Buzzes have stoppers in them so this isn’t neccesary.
Although, the helmet is supposed to retract simply by pressing the button again. Same with the wings.
I’m not sure I’d bother, since the glow in the dark stuff is so weak in the first place. at least on mine it is. when I turn off the lights I can see my older buzz glowing a bit even without holding it directly up to a light. with the TSC buzz even after holding it up to a light for a few mins the glow is still surprisingly weak. using glow paint on just the hands would probably end up being the only part that glowed as it should if I did that. so I don’t think I’d do that unless I was prepared to repaint all the trim.
I think Lotso coming out now is certainly valid - it’s a good way to build hype for him and his character. And when the movie is finally out, he will be in demand, and he’ll be readily available for people to purchase.
Not that I don’t want a Bullseye, It just makes sense to me that Lotso would be out now.

Agreed. they were wise to pick a new character over an old one, especially one that doesnt talk. (don’t get me wrong, I still like Bulsseye more, but he’s not as easily marketable)
Especially since Bullseye is more of an accesory (no offense, but that’s the only way I can think of putting it), by this I mean people who’d buy him would normally have either Woody or Jessie already for him to go along with. This just gives the consumer more time to get ahold of them.

its a must to take the buzz to off mode if we are not playing with him?
and…is there anyone here have the TSC buzz that have a perfect helmet (doesnt scratch like i have) ??

To answer your questions 1) Depends whether you want to conserve battery power or not. If you want to save battery life, obviously you should leave him off. However, it’s not a must. Personally, I like to leave him in his TOY mode and let him auto shut off.
2) I think all the Buzz’s have pretty scratched helmets. If you want a cleaner one though, you can always ask the customer service at Thinkway Toys.

now im finding a cool place for the certificate ,maybe a photo frame
you know, I never really gave this feature any thought until now. So upon checking him out I can safely say mine does not glow at all. I even held him over a bright lamp for a few minutes and nothing at all. This alone wouldn’t normally be enough to bug me. Sadly my Buzzs head has never moved either. Putting the two things together now though and I’m really thinking if buying a new one.
Just recived this e-mail from Amazon UK :-
Obviously a mistake right? Maybe Amazon UK are having trouble getting TSC stock, and have decided it’s not worth the hassle getting it, so won’t be offering any for sale from themselves. I’ve yet to see them have the TSC Aliens or Rex available direct from them.
I’m pretty sure that’s just their cookie-cutter response to any kind of canceled order or product availability issue. It wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense for Thinkway to cancel Bullseye now, as they’ve gotten past the prototype phase, and the whole world knows about and wants this toy. Plus, Thinkway has still said when asked that the stores have already received him or will receive him soon, and that it’s just a matter of them putting them out on the shelves for sale. Still, it is a valid concern given his unavailability as of this point.
Amazon UK sell the aliens for £64. I would take what they say with a grain of salt.
It wouldn’t make sense to cancel Bullseye. Kids freaking love Bullseye (me included). If a minor character like RC got made Bullseye has to come out.
