They can make a TSC Bo the same way they made it in 95. Without the lamp. Sure it will make it less accurate but lots of the toys have inaccuracies so they don’t need to include the lamp
Disney store has some Mr. Pricklepants stuffed toys. They are regular $8.50 but were only $5.00 this weekend. It looks to be in scale too. I’m going to post picks in the replicas section soon.
Yes, this is exactly how I feel. If I was still a kid then it’d be suitable, but as a collection piece it doesn’t look good enough for me. I don’t really feel the need to add a Lotso to my collection right now anyway, maybe down the road.
And you’re right, there’s no way Jessie’s shirt is supposed to be satin. Not sure what made them make that choice.
They could easily make her without the lamp and still have her be pretty accurate. She is not permanently attached to the lamp. Otherwise Andy would never have been able to play with her and make her the damsel in distress. It would be nice if they did make a lamp…but let’s be realistic. Even if Thinkway was going to make her (which is now highly unlikely) I think we would be lucky if we just got a set of inscale sheep.
I would say Bo with out the lamp is more like RC without a remote control. Now Bo without legs would be like RC without wheels.
Voice boxes can be extremely small and dirt cheap. its when you put in motion sensors, sound sensors, timed sleep mode, etc that it starts to add bulk.
Just bought Bullseye today. He seemed perfectly fine until I compared him to the Bullseye on Thinkway’s website and notice that his snout wasn’t on straight. I don’t think I’m going to return him though over something so little, everything else on him is perfect.
Took a low quality picture of Woody on Bullseye and Buzz next to them.
Does Bullseye look fine or should I try to return him for a better one? It was hard to see that the snout was not straight since it’s only noticeable when you look at him from the front or the side where the tags are.
i’m indonesian,at first, i dont understand what it “snout”,until i check it out at google translate. So,when first time i see your photo, your bullseye are perfect, but until i know what is “snout”, now i know what is wrong with yours
I will try to take some pics of my collection tonight. Anyone know a good image host for me to use?
The Mr Prickle Pants I got is a Disney Store exclusive.
I think he is pretty movie accurate apart from the fact that his eyes are stitched, not plastic, and his buckles and buttons are material and not metal. I may try to find a way of fixing this but probably need a trip to a craft store. Also his claws are all made from one piece of black felt and are not individual as in the movie.
The two main issues with the Disney Store Lotso are his stiched eyes (not plastic) and his lack of nose coloured eyebrows (his eyebrows are the same colour as the rest of his body), not to mention his seated position and lack of defined fingers.
Given that the Collection version is not that accurate anyway I think he is a great cheaper alternative and he really does smell pretty strong. Oh and I didn’t mention how soft he is - I can see why they called him Lotso Huggin’ Bear! Maybe I will try to find some replacement plastic eyes and dye his eyebrows purple.
Also the Disney Store has an exclusive Buttercup but I am not sure what size an accurate Buttercup would be. Would someone who has seen the film mind advising me please?
How tall would he be compared to say Woody, Buzz, Mr Prickle Pants and an Alien. I’ve got no idea how many of those characters he even makes contact with as I can’t find any screen caps of him online.
Also, I would not say that Buttercup is the same size as Bullseye. Bullseye is taller than Buzz, and in this picture, Buttercup looks to be about the same height as Buzz, making him about 12 inches tall.
It only looks like Buzz is taller than Buttercup because he’s sitting on his back. If you were to put the two side by side, they’d be about the same height.
There is about an inch of difference between Buzz’s and Buttercup’s feet, and coupled with about 2 inches difference between Buzz’s helmet and Buttercup’s horn, that would make Buttercup 10 to 11 inches tall – you’re right, not Buzz’s size, but close enough.
EDIT: Also, is it just me or do Bullseye’s eyes look too far apart in Amy’s picture?
