Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

I got my Etch A Sketch today, but, just my luck, there’s something wrong with it. Shaking it does not get rid of the marks. The just fade slightly. I’ve lightly shaken it, shaken it as hard as I possibly can, and everything in between. I don’t get it. I didn’t even think it was possible for that not to work. At least RC looks OK. Now Etch has random erasable lines.

All the ones at the Disney store I saw the last time I was in there were like that. not sure what causes this. they were fine the previous time I went.

My Etch had similar problems. I printed out the “draw that man in a chicken suit” picture that’s on the Replica thread and inserted it over the screen. Maybe you could try that. It works if you are going to display the Etch A Sketch.

Just realized Prospector got cut off… But anyway, next stop, Jessie!

I really can’t make up my dang mind. Do I want the TSC Woody or the Mattel TS3 Woody? I might get the Mattel Woody because the TSC Woody is not in any stores as of right now :frowning:

It’s the exact opposite for me, hehe  Personally, I think you should get the TSC Woody. He is highly detailed, his box is amazing, and he says more phrases. But he does cost a lot. You can find him online on Amazon, DisneyStore.com, and ebay, if not in Toys R Us, Disney Store Target, and Walmart.

That’s the problem, like I’ve said before, I can’t afford the TSC Woody, I could afford the TS3 Mattel Woody though, so I may get that.

Just remember that Mattel Woody is unheard of in the states (the only option is ordering online, which would bring the cost up to more than the TSC Woody). Quality-wise, they both have their ups and downs, but I just like the Mattel version’s face better.

My local k mart had him for $59.99 what a ripoff.

Oh i didn’t pay attiantion to the price At kmart i agree with you what a ripoff Woody should be alot cheaper

I just got the ultimate score today. I went to the Goodwill shop to get a belt for a project, and I found TSC Potato Head for $17.99. Only catch, the box is pretty much demolished and he’s missing his hat. But other than that he works fine.

Anyone get replaced Potato Head parts from Thinkway? That’s the only way I know I can get a hat for him.

^ Wow. With or without the hat, that’s a really good find!!

I know, right? The funny thing about it is I’ve been literally checking ads every week for a couple months waiting for somebody to put Potato Head closer to $30 so I could pick him up. I managed to get the eyes for him, and obviously he’s one of my favorite characters. So I went to the goodwill store to get a cheap belt for my halloween costume i’m working on, and there he was. I checked him out to make sure his electronics worked, and sure enough. 50 dollar toy sitting there for only 18 bucks. I still sent a email to Thinkway, but for now i’ve got the standard Potato Head’s Derby on him.

Can’t believe that not only did I find a TSC at goodwill, but it was even the one I’ve been wanting. Sucks about the box, but the COA is fine, and I am definently not complaining.

That’s a really neat find, lucky.

BTW, what are you being for Halloween? I’m being Elastigirl again.

Haha. The name almost gave it away. It’s actually kinda hard to explain since i’m a big fan of Toy Story and Pixar, and i’m also really big on Halloween and Horror stuff. Really strong contrast. But it’s a “Stalk-About” costume, almost sort of like a Puppet, but wearable. Makes it about 8 foot tall, I puppetter the head and the arms from inside. It’s got a Jack-O-Lantern for a head with flickering light-up eyes.

It’s really big so the frame for the creature is built into a backpack with a metal frame, so for the bottom of the backpack I needed a long enough belt to go through the metal frame and around me. That way it’s held tight to my back so I can work the head and arms and it’s more comfortable to wear. Sounds REALLY complicated, if you’ve never had any experience, plus I just have text to work with. Basically a general shoulder’s and neck are on long PVC Pipes that are attached to a backpack frame. The arms hang down, and I move poles that stick out of the elbows. It’s a lot tricker to explain than “i’m being Elastigirl again” lol.

Sorry for all that, TRYING to get sort of back On-Topic… I needed a belt, and Goodwill sells them for a buck, instead of the normal 6-8 bucks, and I just happened to be near one that’s pretty far from my house. So it’s really funny that I wound up being in just the right place at just the right time.

^Thtat’s cool.

Anyway, as soon as my male parental unit grants me my money for a whole summer of yard mowing, I’ll buy Woody and Jessie, finally.

Im too old for Halloween, Im 19, I still eat the basket candy and friends candy.
