I live in Europe where stores generally are far more strict in terms of returns (ie. they don’t accept opened packages), and even if they weren’t, there are no stores selling the TSC Woody here. 
Anyway, I contacted Amazon about returning it and they didn’t even seem to want to know why, they just told me it’s fine if it’s opened and then told to return it, which I did. Now all I have to do is hope that this “defect” qualifies for a replacement.

hello there guys. I’m in a big hurry: Can anyone please post a pic of the knot in the Woody doll? Mine got loose and the knot i made is not exactly a perfect knot so i wanted to see other knots so i can get an idea of how to redo it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
What did you end up doing? Replacing the ring? The string? The knot doesn’t have to be anything special. I just tied a basic knot as if I were tying a pair of shoes, and a dab of super glue to secure it. Then cut off the excess.

hi all… new here. i registered to ask if anyone here could shed some light about thinkway mr potatohead. bought it when it first came out, and it was stored unopened unplayed for that long. and now i have a 2 years old girl, so i thought it’s time for some toy story fun; i showed her the film and brought out the toys from the storage. we pressed the ‘try me’ button a couple of times while potatohead is still inside the box, and it’s talking and shaking. still worked fine after all this time, i thought. we took it out of the box, pressed it again, and it’s not shaking anymore. instead of a shake, it gives out a grating loud vibrating sound, everytime. the toy still talks, but it doesnt ‘dance’ anymore. batteries changed and result is the same. nobody dropped it. it was fine one second inside the box, and broken the next second.
anyone had heard of this? any suggestion is appreciated. i’m posting a thread also about this. sorry about the double post but i need some quick answers.
You might want to contact Thinkway the number should be on the box. They might send a replacement or let you know how to fix it.

It is fine to have threads where one talks about toys they already own or they would like to get from official sources. But ones which request buying or selling of goods from other members is not allowed here for legal reasons.

Thinkway have said that they are doing a zurg late 2013 or 2014. Could this mean a pete or Trixie??

But in all seriousness, where did you come across this information? Last I had heard, Thinkway had said no more toys, they were all done with the line, the only reason they kept shipping them was because stores were ordering them to meet sales. I would be thrilled if this were true, though somewhat angry at the fact that I just bought the other Zurg with a Buzz I didn’t need not too long ago. I would think if they are going to do another small wave, with Zurg being a confirmed choice, Trixie would be the next easiest one to do I think, as I remember an interview with her voice actress saying that she recorded some lines for a toy awhile back, and she is one of the most sorely missing. After that, as much as I would love him, unless they’re feeling really adventurous I doubt we’ll see a Pete. I desperately want him to complete the Round-Up Gang, but I just don’t see the popularity being there for him, especially after the TS3 hype has died down, but I’d gladly welcome being wrong in this instance.

Oh you did? Sorry, I must’ve missed the post, so my apologies to that. That’s pretty interesting, I wonder if they’ll make a completely new mold themselves or if they’ll borrow the one from Disney Store and just mod it to be more in line with the other TSC line. Then again, I think I remember one of the posts about the original Zurg saying that Thinkway had designed the toy for them in the first place, so maybe it is their mold already.
Have to play devil’s advocate here though, do we know for sure that that Facebook page is operated by legitimate Thinkway staff? I’d hate to get all excited about this only to find out that someone was getting their jollies out of masquerading on Facebook as the company just to get people’s hopes up. It sounds farfetched and silly, but it happens all the time in other collecting communities, so I just figured I’d throw that out there.

Its seems out of character, I mean thinkway LIED to everyone about wave 3, first it wasnt happening, then it was uk exclusive, then it wasnt, then it was.
It was ridiculous and not truthful, why release info now? when it might not be released until 2014?
