actully tyler is write you cant double post its in rules the monenters dont like it.
If u saw and held my standard talking woody doll in person you would think TSC did a horrible job on screen accuracies. i have even gone as far with modding him to where his pull string winds back in slowly. the holster- made it moveable and nicely sealed to where it will even hold a freakin match. 
vest-fully stitched on front unlike when u get him the two very weak stitches on each side, that was horrible and just made me laugh. strongly restitched elbows and screen accurate stitching on the knees. who needs a woody that keeps asking stuff like where is everybody. as far as screen accuracies go i hate anything more. less doesnot bother me because i can fix that. exept for woody’s eyes and smile.
as long as you have fun with your toy it doesn’t matter which one you get 
has anyone ever made a modified poato head (2 eyes and feet) if so can you upload a picture. i alwasys asked my dad to do it when i was little but it never happened. im curious to see what it looks like. thanks
I made one recently only have one eye but I also have bendy arms got them at a swap meet like 5 years ago. also have two seperate shoes. ill post a pic soon. and made eye brows out of play skool potato heads ruber hair peace.
This is probably old but is anyone planning on buying Lotso? I’m not, but I would love to see some high quality pictures of him when he goes on sale.

ive always wondered what an accurate potato head would look like. dont get me wrong the TSC one is awesoem i just think they could do better if it didnt have the electronics and stuff

Well, I finally opened my Woody recently. Quite impressed, really. It captures the aesthetic very well. A few minor problems:
It’s not Tom Hanks’s voice. Jim does a very good impersonation, but the difference is still noticeable.
Those two holes in the back of the hat.
He doesn’t have “Andy” written on his foot (yeah, they couldn’t really win no matter what they did in this regard; at least this can be fixed in a number of ways).
All in all, though, it just works. RC’s probably still my favourite of the line so far, but Woody is the best value in my opinion. I plan to get Buzz soon, so hopefully I’ll like him.
The Sherrif Woody doll isn’t suppose to come with Andy’s name written on it.

Then again, I don’t really have any money (just spent all of it on TSC Woody and Pokemon HeartGold). I’m looking to get the Green Aliens or the Bucket O Soldiers next. No one yell at me or roll their eyes at this question, but do you think it’s possible to have a squeaker professionally put inside the Green Aliens? Thanks.
Also, @Pixar Builder, I’m getting TSC Lotso when he comes out. He looks so soft and lovable. I don’t care if they don’t put a single electronic inside him (Heck, I’d prefer him without them, especially if he’s cheaper that way). I’m guessing Lotso will be selling like crazy when he comes out do to the fact that he’ll be the first AND most definitive Lotso there is… So I’m probably going to pre-order him.
And I just realized my Rex is not 100% to scale. Still not sure if I’m gonna get the TSC one, however, because mine is still by Thinkway and talks. (For those of you who are wondering, he’s my brother’s… I think he was made in '96 or something like that…)
Anyway, I was at Target today and they had the TSC Bucket O Soldiers and that’s it (besides Slinky whom is not TSC). Didn’t pick them up, as I just mentioned I have no money. And to whomever was saying it is hard to find the CoA version of Bucket O Soldiers, they must have restocked them or something… because I’ve only been out specifically looking for TSC toys twice now and both times I saw the CoA version of them.
So, yuppers. To infinity and beyond!

They have had the collection bucket since october pretty much ever where I have buzz army men and woody geting rex in like a week and he got r.c. probably from sams club you need a membership though thats were im getting rex.
Yeah, I know, hence my little comment about not being able to win no matter what they did. It’s a simple problem of toy accuracy vs. character accuracy.

anyway, I have a random question, anyone here considered, painting the inside of woody’s mouth? one day I’d like to try that, but Im kind of afraid of painting in a small crevis like that. but if done right it could had a lot to the look of him. same goes for the green aliens. the oens with opened mouths that is.
it just really bugs me that the inside of their mouths are flesh toned instead of a darker color like they would be in the movies.
I have done this with one of my Woody ragdoll’s to see if it is something i would want to do to all of them. I made my own extremely small five strand paintbrush to do this. It ended up that to me and opinions from a few friends it looks great from a distance but when close enough it just sticks out vividly and has a corny look.
Although this looks great to add detail to the aliens with open mouths.
I don’t know the exact name of the color but use a dark [spoil]baby s*** green[/spoil] for the aliens mouths, it works great. Paint With Care!
