From the pics, the main fault seems to be the legs. Thats the thing thats really throwing off the look. I wish there was some way to make those pegs shorter or go inside his body more.
Which is why I dont think I’ll make him my next addition. If Mr p is out then the rest shouldn’t be far behind. I think I’ll make Jesse my next one. After the green aliens of course.
Also someone a page page brought up the eyes again, I found out this isn’t isn about saving money, but that it’s a choking hazzard. Doesnt matter who would be making this, they would not be allowed separate them. They would have to go through a collectors only line, (proabably online only) for that.
But compared to the feet issue any other problem doesn’t even bother me.
I found one and bought it. I found it for 30 bucks!! I actually really like him despite the leg issue. You really dont notice it in person. The talk back feature doesnt work very well on this guy though. Also, the box is huge! I was under the impression it was much smaller. It’s also a pain in the butt to get opened. I think it might be impossible to save this box

At a toys r us here in Oregon. The price story is funny. They mis marked the price so i informed them that it was 49.99 not 29.99 but instead of fixing it, they changed it to 29.99 permanately!

According to a guy at sideshowcollectors forums the leg issue was Hasbro’s idea.
I’m guessing thinkway wanted to do it like we saw in the prototype, but Hasbro thought it would be too unsafe, pinching kids fingers.

After looking at the pictures Andy2010 posted I don’t mind Potato Head’s inaccuracys except for the speaker on the back of his head. I’ll get over though.

Those of you who found TSC Mr. Potato Heads at Toys R Us, how many of him did you see there?
I’m not too excited about this Mr. P just cause of all the inaccuracies. Probably will be one of the last I pick up, unless I come across a good deal for him. I’m still excited that he’s out though, just cause I like when new pictures start showing up and hopefully it means the other new ones will be coming pretty soon.

the only problem i had with slinky is the string coming out its head
