As much as I wish this would happen, I wouldn’t bet my life on it… Ever since the Best Animated Feature category was created, it felt like numerous animated films deserved that spot as well, but nowadays, most animated films just get looked over and thrown in for best animated only.
I hope WALL-E can make history this time.
Gosh, that WOULD be awesome…I wouldn’t bet a single dime on it, though. I KNOW it will get nominated for Best Animated Picture, and HOPEFULLY win, but Best Picture? Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening.
…It would still be awesome, though. xD
We will have to see with the release of The Dark Knight. Iron Man made some waves too.
But Wall-E in my book would be up past them. I will have to see with Dark Knight.
I do believe that it will get nominated though!
It would really be wonderful if Wall-E was nominated for Best Picture. But it’s going to be very hard for that to happen, I feel like Wall-E will get nominated for a bunch of categories other than Best Animated Feature (such as Sound, Art Direction, and ect.). Maybe there should be a really adorable “For your consideration” campaign for Wall-E…just an idea 
Maybe Presto will get nominated for Best Animated Short as well.
