This Woman Is Colette's CLONE!!!!

I just saw a trailer for this new movie called No Reservations. Watch the trailer and tell me if this woman does not act EXACTLY like Colette!!!

Heres a summary:
Master chef Kate Armstrong (Academy Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones) lives her life like she runs her kitchen at a trendy Manhattan eatery—with a no-nonsense intensity that both captivates and intimidates everyone around her. Kate’s perfectionist nature is put to the test when she “inherits” her nine-year-old niece Zoe (Abigail Breslin), while contending with a brash new sous-chef who joins her staff. High-spirited and freewheeling, Nick Palmer (Aaron Eckhart) couldn’t be more different from Kate, yet the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Well, it isn’t really 100% like Collete, but I see the similarities. They both are tough, assertive, female chefs.

Heh – yeah, I have seen this trailer before many showings of Ratatouille, and I must say that the similarities between both the main female character in No Reservations and Colette in Ratatouille are uncanny. However, the “taste” of the film in question (No Reservations) seems significantly different when compared to its apparent, “ratty” counterpart. It doesn’t really bother me, actually…

Good observation, though. Heh.

I’m actually very excited about this movie. Ratatouille has gotten me just interested enough in cooking to want to see it. Plus, despite being a chick flick (which I admit I enjoy - I really loved Music and Lyrics) it looks like a really good, down to earth story - and I’m a sucker for story. =)

I know, I saw the trailer and I was like, WOW she acts like Colette!

I saw that trailer on my second time seeing Ratatouille. That was my first thought, too. I was all “Waitwhut?” for a good few minutes. :open_mouth:

Almost like a non-animated version of Ratatouille, so instead of adopting a rat they adopt a girl

OMG, you are right.

Is it possible that some writers in Hollywood are copying Pixar’s ideas while they are in production ?

Last summer when CARS was playing, there was that Colin Ferrall racecar movie that was very simuler to CARS, now this ?

I haven’t seen “Ratarouille” yet, but this couincidence is far to weird.

This is such an old topic, but I have some trivia on that movie.
I realized this when I first saw its trailer: No Reservations is like a remaking of the German film, Mostly Martha. I saw Mostly Martha about 4 years ago. It was the exact same plot.
