Tonight NBC will be viewing The Incredibles for America…times may vary check your tv listings…TSS i know you might.
I swear they were on last year on Thanksgiving. I wonder what the connection is? Oh well, I’m not complaining. Heck, they used to show Its a Wonderful Life at that time…
Just came across it and noticed something.
In the scene when Bob (assumed deceased) breaks back into Syndrome’s layer, he jumps off the side of a cliff that reminds me of a scene in Kung Fu Panda. Specifically, Master Tigress leaving the palace to go to the rope bridge. Anyone else notice this? I saw a distinct similarity, perhaps homage…
Sidenote-This upcoming Tale of Despereaux CG feature is looking pretty weak to me
I think they played the whole movie…that was awesome!!
It looked so much real to me tonight. Plus they didn’t any of the scenes that i saw…it was well done.
For anybody who watched the Thanksgiving showing, did anybody notice how they sped up the film toward the end? I’ve seen The Incredibles enough times to know that NBC sped it up. I wonder why they would do that?
I saw it already. I liked watching my most favorite movie of al time with my family. I noticed that it seemed a little fast-paced. What really ticked me off were the on going commercials every seven minutes. They took a break at the worst times.
I know right? I noticed they picked the strangest times to go to a commercial…
yah…they breaked lots of times…and even i could tell they sped it up…Syndrome talked way to fast…he was super monologing…sheesh. At least they used the widescreen style rather then full screen.
My wish that they could’ve divided the movie in to 4 parts. With 2 minute commercial breaks in between.
Or better yet…(4) 28.75 minute clips w/4 commercials each 2.25 minutes
That would create 115 minutes of movie and 9 minutes commercials…you could possibly add 1 minute of commercials to make it ten.
That would be lots of film before limited commercials…
Or better yet, how about the whole dang movie with no commercials?
YAHHH!!!
Duh…how stupid are networks today??
I saw it on TV, but didn’t bother because I get yelled at about it. The volume is always too low on the dialogue, and then very high on the action sequences. I’m sure they intended that but … yeah, it gets me in trouble.
I’m gonna watch it again before the week is over, but this time, on my DVD.
good idea…
I watched the first half of the movie on the dvd then watched the second half at 9…on NBC. I started watching home alone between the break.
It feels much better w/o the breaks.
TSS
You said it…it really does.
Just finished the part where Violet and Dash ran out of the cave. Where are they on the NBC showing of TI?
What…they showed it yesterday??
I watched it yesterday…are you watching it again??
Hey…that is the best scene…enjoy it.
It felt nice to watch it twice in a row. Like last year.
