TMNT

So who is seeing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

movie. May not be a Pixar but it is 100% CG.

I grew up watching TMNT in grade school so this movie is like

the return of a classic for me. Michelangelo is still my favorite turtle. I hope they steered away from making it

a “kids movie” and put some more hardcore action into it.

I first saw a trailer for this movie

about a year ago and have been patiently waiting for this movie to come out, now I am getting impatient!!!

Eheh – I used to watch the old tv series occasionally when I was younger (well, maybe only one or two

shows), and I must admit that I thought mutant teenage turtles with ultra ninja powers was pretty cool.

But this movie? Alright, I laughed at it; but other than that, it seems like a poor excuse for other

companies/networks to show off their 3-D “stuff” and hop on the computer animated bandwagon. Nah –

I’ll save my money for Ratatouille. Heheh.

Shouldn’t this have been in the Other Animation section? Just a thought.

I would’ve considered seeing it if they’d done it in

the old way with the costumes and stuff. Those rocked. x3

Did anyone see that thing that hit us last night? Yeah, it looked like your mom

dude!

Haha LOL  that’s my favorite quote

I’m not really into teenage

mutant ninja turtles and I’m not really into movies based off of cartoon series. though many of the movies from

cartoons suck. but I can’t judge, I haven’t seen it.

who knows? could be interesting.

I used to love these guys. This made me intrested in

action shows and movies. My favorite one is Leonardo. He is a good leader and he wields swords.

I wasn’t as big on the

Turtles in the day, more of a casual interest. The original Power Rangers was gaining steam in my Pre-K years.

I’ve seen more of the newer show, probably the only good thing to come out of 4Kids ever, and I like how they

went with the more serious tone of the comics and not make Shredder a doofus like in the old cartoon. Going to

see the new Turtles movie with a friend of mine and his older brother(who was big on the turtles back in the day)

on opening weekend.

I used to love the old shows that had an F.H.E relationship. Once it went to Fox, it kinda lost me. Now with the

movie comming out, after like two years with out TMNT, I am very excited about it.

Oh, they’re doing it in CG? Hmm,

well, let’s just say I’m not going to have high hopes for this film. The concept, whilst strange, was good once

upon a time, but the creators of this film are basically going to have to rely on die-hard fans of the old series

and films to see this new one and rack up some profit, if any.

It’s

nice to see some of these 2D classic tv series go 3D feature length!

I wasn’t that interested in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to begin

with. Even from an early age, the concept really puzzled me.

Bill: TMNT is about 4 turtles who get radioactive waste

dumped on them who. This explains why they can walk and fight. Anyways, they were raised and trained by their

“Master” Splinter in the art of Ninjitsu. Together, the four turtles battle the evil shredder who

threatens the world. This is just the basic summary of it all.

The Star Swordsman - Yes, I

knew what the summary was back then, I just found it a bit odd to tell you the truth.

I enjoyed them - just “never really breathed in”.

However, my

chances of seeing this movie probably tripled now that it’s in CG!

Saw it this afternoon and it was

fantastic. Some great action scenes and impressive animation [spoil]especially Leonardo and Raphael’s

rooftop fight in the rain[/spoil].
Did anyone else get a vague Incredibles feeling from Mike and

Don’s crappy jobs? (Mike doing children’s birthday parties in a goofy turtle mask, Don in a frustrating tech

support job)

Arrg I didn’t get a chance to see it this weekend. I’ll have to wait til next

weekend.

Cannot say this area of plot isn’t bad.
Is a fair thing for me in terms of the whole Teenage Mutant Ninga

Turtles series. But really never watch at all in many cases.
Although this next film of it seems to be mixed

with 3-D dimensional visuals as well aside from the chars.

I heard that it was made into a people action

movie once sometime ago. Guess it was out of hand according to what many people told me about it when they told

me it had came out and saw it

Yes DD. TMNT was made into a

live action movie a while ago. 3 of them actually. Personally, I loved them. But I was really young back

then.

How good was it? Just wondering…

I am going to try to see it

this weekend, unfortunately I got a lot of other things going on as well.
