I agree. They must (and probably will) put Tony in a
probable TI sequel. But I see him going two ways. One, him being a total sweet heart to Violet. The other way is
just a flat out jerk to her. What would you decide? Cause I think both are great storylines.
Why would
Brad make Tony a jerk? He created the character for Violet. The classmates who pester her are the jerks, so he
has to remain a sweetheart. Tony is her comfort at school. 
And that’s
not all. Assuming Michael would be providing his voice again, I don’t see it happening. I don’t think Brad
wants his son to be known for playing the part of someone who is a jerk to
women.

I agree. In the film, Tony seemed like an overall sweet, kind-hearted guy who would do
his utmost to sympathize with or care for his/a companion. And even more so in Violet’s case, as Tony seems to
have deep feelings for her as much as she has for him. The last thing on Tony’s mind would be to change his ways
and “dump” Violet for unknown or selfish reasons, unless it was absolutely necessary (family problems,
moving to a new neighborhood, etc.).
PV:
You have to understand. I love Tony and I would hate for him to be a jerk to Violet. But I think it would
intresting to see how every person believes he was a nice guy and then BAM!!! He has a complete change in
character.
TSS- That would be okay if there was a real reason for it. Like, say, if he
finds out about Vi’s powers, and reacts strangely to it because, I dunno, say his father was accidentally killed
by a Super? I’m just making things up as I go along here, but generally, people aren’t jerks to other people
without there being an underlying reason.
PV : Michael ? Isn’t that the one that told his younger brother to go up to
the co-writer of FN and say " money money money ! " hee hee , just thought i’d point that out .
I wouldn’t think of Tony doing that either . But that makes it even more surprising . So that
point actually makes it more possible . You know what I mean ?
The Michael he is talking about is Michael Bird, Brad Bird’s son GLP.
Hate to burst all y’alls bubbles here but if (when) we get an Incredi-sequel I suspect Tony
will continue to be a minor character. I don’t think they want to get too deep into teenage romance since you
start running into some grey areas and that like it or not you have to accept the fact that it’s 98% most likely
not going to be long lasting. He’ll still be there - one more stumbling block for Vi in the real world, but
don’t expect him to become more than just a minor character. =)
You are right. If there is going to be a TI sequel, he will probably get the same
amount of screentime as he did last time. Maybe he can appear for an entire “chapter”, but nothing
long.

“Incredibles” film or not (which we probably will). But yeah – you’re
probably right. I especially agree on the entire “romance” situation; the less the better. No offense

Randome Tony thought. i think Tony would be someone who would risk his own life for Vi.
We don’t know Tony well enough to make a statement about him like that. He might turn

I guess, because he is so hansome and popualr, he might think he is too good for
people who are unlike his own kind. Violet might end up in that category. Maybe that is how he could be a jerk.

While he’s never given me a buzz,
he does look pretty good for an animated guy. If there was a TI2 i would like to see if they do anything with
Tony & Vi

obsession. Why do you guys like him so much? Why not any other Pixar guy? Not that I have problem with it or
