Tony Rydinger :)

Is it just me, or is he like the hottest male character besides Syndrome. I’ve thought about it

for a while, and I think so. <3

It’s a shame we see so little of Tony though. Let’s hope in the

sequal we find him and Violet dating … and we find he’s got some superpowers too , to help her save the day.

He does seem to be a cool guy, but, as you said, we see

so little of him that it’s difficult to really judge what he’s like. But, at the end of the film, he’s

obviously attracted to violet, so at least we know he has a good taste is girls!

I’m waiting for PixarVixen to find this thread… :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah – I have to admit that Tony’s style and design is quite…intriguing. When I first saw him I

thought, “That is one cool looking guy character”.

Not to mention, he seems like the perfect

match for Violet – he appears to be a little more outgoing than her, while Violet, on the other hand, is shy;

hence, the two forces go against each other to create a negative/positive effect, and a perfect match! Both teens

make a wonderful couple.

Other than that, I’m not one for romance.

I

agree. Tony is a wonderful match for Violet. BUt we don’t know much about him. All we know is that he is liked

by a lot of girls, yet he is shy of Violet himself. I think he would be a wonderful boyfriend to Violet.

LOL!

Me too!

I’m gonna have to sit back and enjoy watching this one unfold.

I already know how I’m

gonna use it to my advantage. :smiling_imp:

I’ll bet that she is

preparing one long post for this thread. She is anticipating this. I can tell you that.

Dash - Haha – I await your cunning reply to Ms. Vixen…

The Star Swordsman - I’ll bet she’s outlining a long theory on the

subject right now! :stuck_out_tongue:

Speaking of which,

Let’s talk about Tony for a bit. First of all, do you all think he is a good student in school?

I expect that he is a rather respectable student in his class, although he may

tend to waver from his work every now and then. Perhaps, at some time or another, he will get a little vain from

all of the attention he receives. Being quite the handsome young man, alot of the girls more than likely give him

a glance or two, and this may cause him to think highly of himself.

But hey – that’s just my opinion.

In my opinion, I would think he is a

wondeful student. I think this because I think Violet wants a boy who is not only hansome and good-looking, but

smart as well. A combination of both.

Actually I’d bet he connects with Violet on a very deep

level. For such a popular boy he’s awful shy as you can see when he interacts with others. I’d say he’s AT

LEAST as shy as even Violet. Notice it’s others that gravitate to him and not the other way around. He’s also

very intimidating because he is so popular. Believe it or not, those who you think would be the most sought

after are statistically most often the single ones simply because others are too afraid to approach them thinking

they won’t be accepted. I wouldn’t be surprised if he too feels alone even in his popularity and thus can

connect with Vi on a very deep level. =)

Dash - Heh – the way you put it, Tony almost sounds like myself on some level.

Interesting. I also noticed that he is practically as introverted as Violet, but you have to admit that he did

warm up after a while – he at least had the courage to ask her out…before he broke down from nerves. :stuck_out_tongue:

[color=indigo:1azc93g2]Ohhhhh baby!!! *points

to sig* <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Love" />

I started a Tony thread in the past, but I never imagined somebody else would do it

again. :D

As Tony’s biggest fan, it is my duty to defend him against flamers (people who express their

hate towards something). They say he’s not good enough for Violet and that she’s his flavor of the week, but

it’s not fair to judge a character like that when you barely know the guy. I’ve read comments in fan fiction

reviews by people who flat out hate Tony. If [b:1azc93g2]TSS[/b:1azc93g2] has read the reviews for his

brother’s story "The Incredibles vs. The Eviles II", he should know exactly who I’m referring to.

:-\ I find it disturbing and offensive.

Tony doesn’t come off as a snob to me.

[b:1azc93g2]Dash[/b:1azc93g2] did a pretty good job of explaining why. He probably doesn’t care much for

his popularity. I’m willing to bet he’s sick and tired of girls constantly approaching him at school who are

most likely only infatuated with him because of his looks.

That’s what I love about Tony. He isn’t the

typical popular boy that takes full advantage of his popularity and has a superficial mind. I’ve known too many

guys like that, hence, I’ve made them a stereotype. Tony is sweet, shy, and practical. I truly think he

completes Violet.

Oh yes…and Tony Rydinger is a total hottie! ;-p He makes me blush like craaazy, and

there’s nothin’ cuter than the way he stutters. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Love" />

What else can I say? I’ve got it so bad that

even the [i:1azc93g2]real[/i:1azc93g2] Tony Rydinger knows I do. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and

Wink" /> I don’t think they are one in the

same person, but his character is more special to me than anyone could

understand.

Yay – you finally replied! I had a great time reading your post, and I must say that I have a

great urge to sing that poem again… ;-p

I only have one more thing to say- if there ever was a

TI2, they must, must, must develop Tony and Vi’s relationship! All we see are the

sweet beginnings, but I’d like to see more- the two of them on a date, having an arguement, kissing, the whole

shebang! It’s a shame there wasn’t enough time to develop the relationship properly in the original, but that

does give the sequel (if there will be one) another side storyline to follow.

I have fallen in love with your posts,

LG.

I would kill to see anything you

mentioned, plus, some little brother interference perhaps? :smiling_imp: I guess Dash’s teasing at the dinner

table has left me wanting more.

And did you know it was originally written that Violet and Tony

were to kiss? I agree with Brad’s decision to cut the scene, but I…I wish he

hadn’t cut the scene! 8D

~~=oP

PixarVixen - Well, if Mr. Bird

does make a sequel to The Incredibles than perhaps

you’ll get your wish. I’d be fine without any kissing parts, though. :stuck_out_tongue:

Heheh. Yeah, I know you aren’t big on romance,

Mitch. But Violet’s relationship with Tony is something I always longed for back

when I was in high school, and Vi and I are so alike. I’m rootin’ for her.

~~=oP

Lol, haha, go Team Vi!

Haha – well, to each his own. You guys just have fun. ;-p
