Whatever you say, Badger, but I really don’t care. Because I myself, on the other hand, just hate DreamWorks in general. All in the favor of rooting for my preferred studio, Pixar, instead. (I root for Lasseter, not Katzenberg. Katzenberg of DreamWorks is just an anti-Disney rival enemy to Lasseter of Pixar.)
I tend to judge each movie series on it’s merits rather then the company who makes it.
Monsters Vs Aliens is my favorite production, but apart from 2 specials and a tv series that only lasted 1 season, they’ve never shown any inclination to continue promoting it.
Looking forward to Me and My Shadow, but uncertain when that will be released, we may be waiting a while for that one to come out.
Also interested to see Croods 2. Although given that Dreamworks sequels have let me down a lot (see below), I am hesitant when it comes to these movies now.
How to train Your Dragon lost me as a fan during the second movie, mostly because I was disappointed that they felt the need to [spoil]kill Stoic. I was hoping for him and Valka to reunite as a couple/family with Hiccup[/spoil] and have that explored in the next movie.
There were many other issues, but that was the final one that pushed me away, the metaphorical straw as it were.
I am still watching the tv series, but only because it’s a prequel to the second movie.
If they make episodes that are set after the second movie, I won’t be watching them.
Also, [url]http://howtotrainyourdragon.wikia.com/wiki/Heather[/url]. She is a character that only exists in the show, so this is the only way to see her.
Kung Fu Panda lost me at movie 3, mostly because of the discontunity between Po’s [spoil]real father.
They showed him as a mighty warrior in 2, in 3, he’s nothing like that at all.[/spoil]
Shrek lost it’s appeal a long time ago, I am no longer a fan, mostly because they keep pushing it.
Madagascar is just low brow entertainment in my opinion, I never liked it or it’s spinoffs.
