The only places I’ve heard about this are at Empire and Wikipedia (unsourced), so I’m doubting it right now. It’ll probably be listed on the official website tomorrow, though.

HI i’m new
If you go to the toy story disney site, they have now grouped the characters into the gang, sunnyside, and other new characters. Since Buttercup, Trixie, and Peas in a pod are under “other”, it is still unknown where exactly they live. I have a theory that may be they are [spoil]Molly’s toys[/spoil] it’s just a theory.

Yeah, it makes you wonder if they’re really from the daycare or not but I was positive that they were. Another thing I’ve noticed is that Twitch, Buttercup, and Peas-in-a-Pod are the only new characters on the site so far without any animations.

I’ve just rewatched the trailer and I think your right.

You don’t see [spoil]Trixie, The Peas or Buttercup[/spoil] in the daycare scenes at all. Infact you don’t see [spoil]The Peas or Buttercup[/spoil] at all. Maybe they are Molly’s Toys and that is where Bo is. Also in the scene at the computer if you look in the background you can see what appears to be a fridge and a cat flap. Why would you have a cat flap in a day care centre? Surely it is a security risk.

Also not sure if I have put the spoiler tags in the right places sorry if I havent!

I highly doubt they will be Molly’s toys. The only one of Molly’s toys is Barbie.

I guess we can be sure that Stretch will have an animation on Disney’s site since she seems to me like one of the major new characters in the gang of toys (I’m still disappointed that Twitch doesn’t have one).

Stretch is another toy I’m probably most interested in. When thinking about how we thought the character was a guy at first, I kind of realized that she does sort of have Whoopi Goldberg’s facial design.

I love Stretch! She reminds me of those elastomer sticky hands and toys one could get from quarter machines.

Those kinds of Sticky Toys were my all time favorite toys growing up when I was a kid. I still have a giant collection of them in my college dorm.

Yeah, I’m hoping they include an actual Stretch toy in the Toy Story Collection since they have one for Lotso.

Me too, although I have no idea how they can add electronics into a toy like that, unless they decide to forfeit the stretchability of her. Which I would hate.

To be honest, I’m really hoping they make more TSC toys like the Army Men. If they didn’t have electronics in them, and were just movie replicas, the toys would be so much more afforadable.

I dont think we’ll see a very accurate Toy Story collection version of her. if we do, it’ll probably look good enough, but it wont be sticky, just a transparant rubber. it could still be stretchy, but not sticky like shes supposed to be. you might see a smaller non collection version, but not a full scale one.

the problem with sticky toys is that they’re only good for a short while before they start getting dirt and hair on them, then they get all discusting looking. you can try and wash it off but it never be quite the same. and a collectors version of it needs to be built to last.

I also think they have new laws that would make dinsney unwilling to make a proper version, being toxic and whatnot.

Thats true. When I used to play with sticky toys, a good one would usually last me a month or two tops before it got all dirty permanently. I hope they make a smaller non TSC version of her then, but I don’t know how probable this will be. I don’t see why Thinkway Toys feels the need to add in all of these unncessary talking features- like Mr. Potato Head- unless it’s just a ploy to make us pay more for them.

The same what? I’m not sure if we can say at this point whether all of the Sunnyside Toys are the “bad guys” or if Mr. Pricklepants, the Purple Haired Doll and Totoro are in another house. Perhaps they’re just in a different location at the Daycare center? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, but you are right about the “More New Friends” on the TS3 website, which is interesting.
