So, go enjoy every millisecond of TS3, before and during its movie theater appearance because when Lee Unkrich says, “People really love these characters and want to see more of them. In Toy Story 3 we really tried to end this story of these toys and their relationship with Andy but I’m sure we’ll see more of the toys in the future"* it doesn’t mean in animation. If there are any more sequels for TS don’t be surprised the next one will be a live action film.
In Japan, Kaibutsu-kun was manga, then made into animation, and very recently made into live action TV show.**
If this is the last, last, big sequel movie from TS, then I’m going to party like its 1999!
You know, in a way I’m already starting to feel a bit sad. Yes, I’m still extremely excited for Friday, but once Saturday gets here, all of the fun of anticipating the film will be gone. Kind of like the excitement of Christmas Eve that is gone by the day after the Holiday.
Yep, that’s true. It’s at that point where all the excitement for a film begins to die out and life moves on. It happened for me when Star Wars Episode III was coming out and I’m sure it’ll happen with Toy Story 3 as well, but I at least know that the entertainment value of all three films will continue to last.
I don’t know how Bullseye is going to look yet, plus he’ll be available at many outlets “real soon now”. But Hamm is an exclusive, and aside from the head tilt that some don’t like (but I do like), he is practically perfect. I’d say get Hamm if you can only afford one of the two.
Me too! Actually, so has my whole family, but mostly just me and my dad. This will also be my nephew’s first trip to the movies. I’m planning on seeing it multiple times, though, at least 5.
Well it wont be over just yet. we still have the Toy Story toons and blu rays to look forward to. Im dying to hear the commentary even though I havnt seen the film yet, haha.
Not to mention any more TSC toys they might release.
God, yes. I hate and love that feeling. I got it from Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and tons of other times. It always happens with movies and even whenever classes end for the semester, right?
About this time in the countdown period, at random I’ll start grinning out of joy from the movie being so close. It’s a very happy buildup.
Most likely, Toy Story 3 will define 2010 for me. Toy Story will BE 2010 as far as I’m concerned. I got this feeling last year from Transformers: like, this is it, the way to define this year, the way the year will be remembered.
I listen to these two songs when I’m anticipating something:
You guys are so lucky, you get to see it this Friday, while I have to wait until the 24th. I really don’t want to wait that long, even though it’s Thursday next week.
