Toy Story 3 Video Game.

Toy Box is short. I already beat it twice. To be honest this game is good because I’m Toy Story fan but if I wasn’t I would think it’s pretty bad.

but nobody is offering me any missions!

Apparently, i need to make the towns people haunted. What outfits are te haunted ones?

IGN gave it a very positive writeup.

I’ll probably get it in a few days for PC.

I don’t know if this has been asked, but I noticed on the PS Store that there was some Toy Story 3 DLC. Has there been any announcement to the amount if any DLC that will be released? I was thinking this “Toy Box” idea is perfect for DLC as they could easily add more and more to the game. Characters, missions etc…

So have they announced anything like that?

Wow, an 8 from IGN is pretty impressive actually, for a movie based game. now Im back to wanting it again.

As for DLC, there’s going to be a minigame with playstation move support added.

Yeah the stuff on there right now is for PSP only.

Has anyone found a good online guide for Toy Box mode? I’m avoiding playing the “story” mode until I’ve seen Toy Story 3 (delayed release in Australia), but I’m having a couple of issues with the Toy Box mode including the fact its been “dark” ever since I purchased Zurg’s spaceport and it’s hard to see much.

Is there a way to make it daylight again? Also, is there some trick to retrieving the gun for Zurg? I’ve made my way up the side of the tower a number of times, but when I get to the top and you have to “jump” back and forth across the panels I get to the top, but then end up jumping over the top of the outer rotating panel.

Thanks in advance.

Well, I’ve been playing the PC version lately, and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. The Story Mode is actually better than I expected, and the Toybox Mode has been a blast so far. Not to mention the Buzz Lightyear video game level, which is amazing. Probably one of the best movie games I’ve ever played. However, the PC version is based off of the Wii version, so the buildings and characters in Toybox Mode can only be customized in complete outfits (you can’t mix and match outfits, change textures, etc). In addition, the characters don’t have facial animation, which I’m pretty sure exists in the 360 and PS3 versions. Other than that it’s fun.

I took a couple of screenshots on max settings:

I wonder how easily the game can be moded? like, if I wanted to could I put the characters into the version of the andy’s rooms I make?

I could make Andy’s entire house and have the characters run around in it if I wanted to spend all that time on it.

There’s a full walkthrough of Story Mode on this guy’s YouTube account: http://www.youtube.com/user/FloatGames

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned yet, but I noticed that Woody has the same swinging by his pullstring move as the original SNES/Genesis game.

I think they cut a lot out of the wii version. I cannot find the dam previously mentioned, i cannot seem to find any camera to purchase either. Hamm just stand there, so i dont know what tthe t wist i was told about is

They did say that the Wii version was simplified and aimed at a much younger audience.

the twist with hamm is [spoil]he turns out to be Dr. Porkchop in disguise and starts sucking up money from buildings and people in his flying ship[/spoil] well thats what happened to me in the 360 version

Yeah that’s what I was talking about.

Wait… The Wii version is simplified?!? UGH! I was thinking about that one because that’s the only console I own that the game is on (besides Nintendo DS and PSP)! But if it’s simplified… IDK.

Buzz&Woodyforever: It’s not terrible, but as I said before you can’t customize individual buildings and citizens. However, all of the missions and environments are still intact. I would recommend getting the PC version if you can, it’s the same as the Wii version only $10-$20 cheaper.

I dont think all the missions made it into this version. I think they threw in more lame busy work and less actualy missions. Wheres the dam people mentioned?

I’ve been looking through a few of the game files and I found it interesting that there are files for Big Baby, Bo Peep, Lightning McQueen, Wheezy, and Stretch, even though (from what I’ve played) they don’t appear in the game (at least Lightning doesn’t). There are also two different Lotso models for some reason, one for the Sunnyside level and one for his area in the Toy Box.

weird i’ve seen and done missions for Bo and Wheezy, I’ve only seen stretch in story mode, I haven’t even seen Big Baby in the game at all, and Lightning Mcqueen? Are you sure its not a building or towns person customization?
