I’m getting a 360 for Xmas so when the Toy Story 3 game comes out, that’s what system I’m getting for, I don’t care if the price for most Xbox 360 games are $59.99

Lol, don’t worry it should be for all systems such as the DS, 360, ps3, psp, etc.

I’m pretty sure I am right because games based off of movies are usually on every single system. :smiley:

Guys, don’t forget PS2, if it comes on PS3, it’ll be on PS2. I might just be hoping that it is though, it’s the only modern console I have. By the way, Toy Story Racer rocks!

Seeing as how I love collecting Achievements on the Xbox 360, I hope this hits that system.

Come to think of it, I need to see if my rental store has the UP game…

Toy Story’s had better luck in the world of video games than most other Pixar properties. Toy Story on the SNES/Genesis, Toy Story Racer and Toy Story 2 are all good games. I hope Toy Story 3 follows the same trend

Hi I hope they do make a Toy Story 3 game because if it is anything like the recently released Wii game Toy Story Mania, it should be good. I think when Disney or Pixar make these games they are careful to make sure their good name in quality is well represented. The Wii game has good graphics and has the same light hearted atmosphere of the movies but you can check out an example of the games they produce as there is a taster version on Youtube at http://www.toystorymania.co.uk. So I would like to think the same thought and care would go into future games.

I know for certain that there will be a Toy Story 3 game, but I wonder if it’s going to be very close to the movie like the game for the 1st film was. The Toy Story 2 game was awesome but it also had Buzz shooting real lasers as a toy and fighting random bosses like a slime monster in a trash can (how would THAT happen in the movie?! :unamused:). That’s not to say that I didn’t like that stuff. That’s why I said the game was awesome.

im pretty sure buzz is gonna shoot real lasers in the toy story 3 game, i can t imagine buzz punching his enemies.

But the point I was getting across is that toy Buzz can’t shoot lasers. I know it’s just a video game and that shooting lasers was fun, but Pixar has had other games based on their films that still followed the rules that were established for their characters. For example, the SNES/Genesis Toy Story game had Woody swinging across areas and whipping things with his pullstring which is more logical, or Flik in the game for A Bug’s Life throws berries at other bugs. I’m only saying that by now when they make the game for Toy Story 3 I think it will be closer to the film than the one for Toy Story 2.

The only way shooting real lasers would work is if the characters in the game were playing a game (like the one seen in Toy Story 2 ) or if we went into a deam sequence or something.

I just found out game is set for release on June 15th. It’s up for pre-order on the Disney Store website.
