Not sure. I’m not buying this rumor until it gets proven true like the prequel idea for MI.
It’ll always be a possibility, even if it doesn’t happen for several more years. Its impossible to tell until they officially state something one way or another. Its possible they kicked around an idea but shelved it after the recent negative word of mouth from Cars 2 and the fact that they have another sequel already in the works. Just be patient for now. Whether your for or against a 4th Toy Story we won’t likely find out for sure for quite a while.
You make a very good piont but I say NO cause i want it to be a no!
I agree with what Kyle said. Seeing how Cars 2 just did, I think it’s going to hurt sequels/prequels from Pixar for quite some time. I’m not going to believe this rumor until Lasseter or somebody from Pixar confirms that it’ll be made.
Yeah i agree. but that doesnt make me hope it happens
As I said before, I prefer watching more short films rather than a long lenght film
I hope they don’t make a new movie but I would love it if they made a 1 Hour TV Special about Woody and the gang getting in a little misadventure.
^I agree, although I suppose that’s what the shorts are for.
If a fourth film is done, just send it to Disney Toon studios to make. That way Disney can milk the series dry and it wouldn’t hurt Pixar’s brand name.
^Maybe not, but it could hurt Toy Story’s brand name.
True, but at least the franchise would make some more money. The film wouldn’t hurt Pixar’s track record if it turned out to be a misfire.
Yeah, but it would still have an association with Pixar since it would be a Toy Story movie, afterall.
Perhaps they can do some sort of spinoff, much like how Planes is a spinoff to Cars.
No, no, please not that.
Why not? I think sending it to Disney Toon Studios would be better.
I wouldn’t want it either way. They should leave the thing alone.
Exactly. The shorts are a much better way to continue the series rather then make another. Besides, Unkrich confirmed on his twitter once that 3 was to be the final one.
Can’t we just let the book close the way it is? The shorts are fine, but do we REALLY need a fourth movie?
Yeah, it just seems very unessassary. The only thing it would really be great is that Pixar can use the money to fund ambitious projects.
They already have the money to do that for a good number of years.
