Hello everyone it’s Gleefan1 here!
The other day I was cleaning out the house with my mum.
And we dug up some old things in her cabnet and my mum had a old pencil tin when i was really young to colour with, anyway my mum used a TS container, I took some pictures of it using my phone (Sorry if it’s bad quality) and I might have wanted to show it to you guys.
I don’t know what it means buy “Toy Box Edition” because it looks like you can’t fit that many toys in it. This Ice-Cream was made by Peters which I think it’s a Australian Company. I think this Ice-Cream Container came out in 1995, I don’t think this might be a collectors item but it depends.
My mum dosen’t remember how she got the Ice-Cream container but all I know is, it’s made of a weak kind of metal.
P.S sorry about how big the images are
Also thanks to Bryko614 for helping me with getting these images! )
Yea me to thedriveintheatre, Saying that brings back sooo many good family gatherings. My mum and I thought we could make homemade ice-cream and put it in that TS container has lot of pencil marks and the smell is hard to get out,We did try but it diden’t work
Although I am glad I did find this
That definately qualifies as a collectable, although the only Toy Story food item I saved was the glass that used to hold jam.
And Toy Story and ice cream goes hand and hand. I can only remember Toy Story 2 ice cream with character shaped sprinkles. And now we have Toy Story 3 ice cream, which I just got. It’s gonna be good.
Same Here! I remember around in 2000 or 2001 I was in Sydney in a town that I forgot what it was called, anyway I saw that these people were throwing out items and I saw the exact Ice-Cream tin that I had, we did not have time to get it but I do remember seeing one in Sydney.
Also (I haven’t taken a picture yet, I might this week) My mum rang me up saying ‘I found a buzz lightyear large action figure’. I don’t know what it looks like but I’m going to look at it tonight and see if I can get some pictures on. She was also happy to hear that Dinoco said that the Ice-Cream container was a colectable, she wants to sell it on eBay but I’m trying to talk her out of it by keeping it .
I just came back from my local supermarket (I think it was Coles) and all they had was just plastic containers .
It’s just sad now, thats all I have to say Ellie-Jessie-eve.
Yea i do miss the tins but, it’s just the future, we have to keep moving foward.
Your just going to be stuck in the past if you want things the old ways.
Even technolagy with the iPad. Your going to have to live with it.
