Saw it last night when I was picking up Muramasa (excellent game by the way). Not exactly sure what it is, besides a party game. I don’t really look into the Pixar games too often, but I plan on getting Up sometime just for the extra features and stuff. 
So what’s this game about?
Its based on the theme park ride, I assume youve never ridden it?
I think its a lame idea myself. let theme park rides stay at the parks. especailly when you cant even do 3d properly. the red/blue glasses make my eyes hurt just looking at them.
I wish i still had my Wii, id buy this game for suree. But i think my mom is getting one for xmas, so ill get it then!

I actually saw this in a shop today. So weird to see something Toy Story related that’s new. The screenshot at the back showed how poor the graphics are, though- it looked really grainy. But I’m guessing that’s the case with most Wii games.
Grainy? Games generally aren’t grainy, you sure it just wasnt because you were seeing the screens printed paper?
while the graphics arent anything to right home about, they seem to replicate the ones in the actual ride to a T. I think they imported the character animations directly from the ride. Their not in real time (as in they were pre rendered, and non interactive) but they seem to get the job done.

Just like the film, the game appeals to everyone in my family and as we all visited the Florida ride together a couple of years ago it brings back great memories and always provokes an interactive evening’s entertainment.

I’m going to stay true to Toy Story Midway Mania (Theme park ride) since it is obviously the better experience.

I have, honestly the best ride in Disneyland. period.
I brought this when it came out. A very poor party/mini game compliation with the Toy Story logo and characters slapped on. Doesn’t control well either, the 3D games simply didn’t work and none of the characters or locations were used in the actual games themselves. 
Sold it after 2 days and got my money back.
The voices were well done though - I belive Tim Allen, John Ratzenberger and Wallace Shawn providing their voices for the game.
I might be willing to try it for two reasons: 1. I have no way of getting to the theme parks to go on the actual ride, and 2. It would just be nice to have Toy Story on the Wii. I also think the graphics are the closest I’ve seen to being Pixar since the Toy Story Animated Storybook game, whether Pixar really did them or not.
And to add yet another Pixar reference to the list, a board game of Knick Knack is seen in the game’s intro.
