Hockey Puck looks amazing so far Emma! The Potato Head arms were a great choice, after all he is the only one who interacts with the puck

Where did this Mr Potato heads arms and mouth come from?..The arms look bendy…
The lips are just plain old Mrs. Potato Head lips. The arms are the original 80’s arms for Mr. Potato Head. These ones were stuck into him, but they were bendy.
Ooooh. I would like to mod a pair for the TSC Potato head…

Yeah i thought it would be a great idea and it fits perfectly with the size of the hockey:D ! + the plastic of the arms is soo easy to cut 
And i will probably use sculpty for the feet, if i can lol, i’m not that skilled in making sculpts xD
Here’s a couple of ideas to finish your Hockey Puck. First, you need to join the Replica Forum, the board will provide you with helpful hints and friendly advice to help with your project. Finally, I saw a small version of Woody that you can cut off his legs and paint them to fit your needs. Good luck on your project.

Yes I second the replica prop forum. There are many member here that are members , like Howlrunner, snakes and whatever it is, Me , and many others. Plus the guy that started this thread before he got punted for recasting and other issues. It is the complete place for replicas in any form . It’s free and fun to learn all kinds of things

hey i was wondering if tyler ever finished his custom slinky i would like to see how it measures up to the current slinky most collectors are buying or if it surpasses it.
I don’t think he ever did, I never received anything from him and i order both a hock and wheezy. On his facebook page he just has the same few pictures that he has had for months of the toys.
Tyler was just trying to make money. I personally don’t believe he ever made those toys.
It’s a sad state in this hobby many times when guys do that. If your going to make something for the masses, you need to have it finished and produced before you start taking money.
actully he sent me a tracking of my package an said it should get to me somtime next week cuz of new years and he showed me my package so I think he just is bad with time.
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and as if anyone has tried (or wants to) to replicate Geri the Cleaner’s kit he used in Toy Story 2 to repair Woody. It would be so coll if someone was planning to.
Exactly. I ordered Mr. P eyes from him, and I had absolutly no troubles. But I know several of you have. I think he may have bitten off a bit more than he could chew trying to get all these out, especially more than one character, and has a short fuse.
On the other hand, whenever people question him, he seems to go on a defensive rant… So it’s really hard to place. But why would he actually produce product and send it out, if he was just scamming for money the whole time? Some people got their orders just fine, others recieved nothing. I agree it’s a bit of bad buisness to take money before having anything to show, but the materials are expensive. Not trying to defend him, or go against any of you, and I don’t mean to say anyone is right or wrong, i’m just stating some thoughts and relaying my personal experience.
And Propologist, it is a sad state what some people will do. I’ve seen people order masks from companies, and re-cast them (make a lower-quality duplicate) and sell them as original work, OR claim that it is from the company they bought the first mask from. Screwing people out of possibly hundreds and trashing the reputation of hard working creators. Not saying it applies here at PixarPlanet at all, but I have seen it happen. Just saying, it’s a shame to have to be so skeptical about people’s creations but it’s true…
EITHER WAY, sorry I’m starting to rant… I can also vouch for The Replica Prop Forum. I’ve seen a lot of what the guys over there can do and it is a great place for excellent ideas and advice. Not only if you are a Pixar/Toy Story fan, but for almost anything else too. I’m also a fan of TRON, and there are quite a few Threads for that too. Didn’t see a link but if anyone wants to check it out, here you go.
You can search for anything you like, i’m sure there’s something for about everyone. Again, sorry for the lenght, but I had a lot to share in this situation.
