Yeah, i thought bo peep was an original character…if it was made 5 years before toy story…thats pretty weird

Hi Slink, Yes this is the Bo Peep I was referring to, Toy Story on Ice would have been after the movie was released in 1995 wouldnt it? Just strange the date on it is 1990.
That bo peep was available at Toy story on ice, this year, except they were sold out when i went…no idea what 1990 is referring too

Oh ok, thanks for the info. The Ball I found on Ebay in a pack of 3 for about $15 and asked the seller if i bought it would they just send me the Star one so as the postage wasnt $25 like was listed, (I am in Australia, the seller was in USA) thankfully they said yes, I still ended up paying about $24 for it all up!!

Hang on I’ll measure it, It was in a pack with i think a red one and a blue one and they had pictures of all the characters on them. I think it looks a little smaller than it should be too and I wish it was smooth instead of having the little raised pictures of woody etc on it. It’s around 4 3/4" in diameter.
Where exactly is the 1990 China label? I wonder if it is possible that the doll’s body came from something else, and they just sculpted the Bo Peep head seperate from the rest of the body.
Wampar, good work as always on Trixie, it looks a little small too me…but i’m sure you have it to scale. I’m still holding out hope for a TSC Mrs. P and Trixie…but I’m not sure if wave 3 is even gonna happen, most of the hype will be gone by the time they announce it.
Yes i spose thats possible, the “1990 China” is on her lower back, and it has “Disney China” on the back of her bonnet. In any case I got it for around $20 including post from UK to Australia, All the other versions i have seen on Ebay are around $100, is this one a cheap version or did I get a bargin?
Yeah, she looked bigger before she was painted, but I am happy with her size regardless. I will be heartbroken if wave three doesn’t happen. I know a lot of people were disappointed with what was supposedly seen in London, but I was excited about every one of them, and sincerely hope they do see the light of day. Nothing would make me happier than a real Pricklepants and Big Baby.
I would be much more excited about the prospect of pricklepants, dolly and buttercup, if it also included a trixie. I’d buy all of them, but without making a good trixie, pricklepants would prolly be my only purchase from wave 3…disney beanies are fine otherwise.
If disney store wanted to make major bank, they’d do a bo peep lamp like the Hamm Bank, but they are too busy pumping out beach towels and bobble heads at the moment
Hey all, I am currently starting to build an Andy’s wagon toybox, and am searching for some good pictures of it for when it comes time to paint it, has anyone come across any good ones? I have searched everywhere but havent found one good enough to copy, cheers.
The ultimate Toy Box bluray box set would be one place to start. The box is a pretty decent replica.
Before Toy Story was released, the Disney Store had their own version, which was probably the inspiration for it. It still had its differences, though, like the cloth lid.
No info on wave 3 and the release is this year i kinda doubt we are getting a 3rd wave if nothing has been announce yet i am going to cave and buy the disney store pricklepants pretty soon before they become rare and start selling for alot on ebay.
After showing the protoypes, I believe we’ll see some updates sooner or later. If they WEREN’T doing it, we’d definately get some updates. But I believe the release date is fall, so give them some time.

As a side project to the troikas, I’m modifying a few Mr. Sharks. They all squeak. They have sculpty eyes and have a few layers of paint and layer of glossy paint to make it more “plastic like”
