I finished a couple of items, and decided it was time to show some updated pics.

First off, my ball. I thought this would be a real simple repaint, but it ended up taking me a couple months to finish, and I’m still not completely happy with it.

I started off with spray paint, which seemed to work. Once I applied a second coat, though, it all went south. It started bubbling up in random spots, and it looked awful. I scraped most of it off, and started again painting it by hand with acrylics. Getting straight lines on a round object of this size is really tough, though. I eventually used tape, but getting that to lay straight was a whole other chore. The red stars are decals, which won’t ever lie completely flat, but they’re close enough. I ended up not applying a finishing coat, since I was worried it would react with the rubber and ruin everything I’d done.

On a much simpler note, here’s my Mr. Spell.

I basically followed wampar’s recipe for him. I also owe him a ton of thanks for letting me use his screen (which I slightly modded to read “Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha”). Thanks, wampar!

Since posting last, I’ve added a few other things. My See n’ Say fell before I took this picture, but he’s (?) usually behind Rex.

Here’s almost all of it, minus the parachuting soldiers who where to high up to get in a group shot.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows anywhere that i could get some eyes for mr potato head that actually look like mr p’s eyes from the movie? not the crap ones you get when you buy it (original not tsc). cheers

are the Hawaiian ones the TSC? I didn’t see it in the link, but isn’t the rumor that there will be a hawaiian TSC of them? The price would seem to make sense for Toys R Us and them being TSC. I don’t like Jessie, woody is ok and a pass, and I would pick up buzz on clearance

I just think they are made by thinkway but non tsc because if they were tsc they would be considered wave 3…Thinkway did say wave 3 is still in the works.

It’s actually a bowl I got at Michael. It’s not perfect (Flat on the bottom, and missing the black trim around the edge), but it’ll work for now.
