It would be nice getting them and they are a pretty good price but I wouldn’t waste my money on them especially if it has the in-accurate Ken.
Here are some quick photos taken of my Toy Story collection in its current (temporary) location. When wave 3 arrives it’ll need a major re-shuffle.
That’s the trouble with this collection, it can grow so large that display/storage space becomes an issue - especially I find with Rex who is the most annoying to accommodate pleasingly into a display due to his height and his tail.
Anyhoo:
It includes every toy in the Thinkway range along with vintage and Disney Store items. I’m very pleased with it… though I dare not think what it has cost in total (a lot). Wave 3 will probably nigh on bankrupt me.

The truth is that I do not like either option.
Your Ken despite being the animal loving (which I have). Do not have an accurate face. The latest version of Mattel, it has its eyes and details. Pixar changed the face considerably from the original one. Ken’s shirt is very loose. The pattern is similar but the neck is too big and lacks "neckline. " Shorts should be tight.
My new sculpt one has better lips… but that the only pic I have found on the internet.
Barbie’s shirt is completely wrong. The print of the shirt is completely different. It has no cleavage. The shirt has sleeves that should not and the neck is different.
I noticed that the body of your barbie is correct but the modeling of the head no. Pixar use the head of the eighties and the head of that Barbie is the mid-nineties, flatter and with bulging eyes
Obviously, the Toysrus picture is a prototype. The will never sold a Ken with the old and inaccurate face. Because of that they modified that previously.
I´m getting mad because pixar used the new Barbie´s waist, the old nineties arms and eighties face! I need an accurate Barbie. I now, I care a lot about details…
BTW:
Mattel has release a new toy story Buzz wicht eurpean version can be reset to englesh, spanish an portugese mode with a stich in the back. And also he has the belt.
My barbie’s face is more accurate than any other barbies faces (this is my point of view)…
And the Ken made for each other, the one you’re talking about for some point is not accurated, the Ken’s traits are crudes (look at the hair, the type of skin, the main goal is not to produce the 3D toys, but actually, the real toy…)
Otherwise, the outfit of Barbie Hawaiian vacation looks right, but Ken’s one is completely wrong…
Of course my outfits don’t have the same pattern, come on dude they have been created by Pixar…

And you have to take in consideration all of the toys have existed yet (well almost), the original toys had slightlty changed into the movie…

I think they would be better if you mixed them together someway because I think by doing something (I don’t know what) you can use both dolls because they both have some accuracies and inaccuracies.
I think the “originals” of Barbie and Ken are better in both instances. The Mattel re-releases look good, particularly Ken, but I think for the “default” or “toy” expressions for both Barbie and Ken, the older figures are better.
Which Barbie is the 1976 one? Did it already have the fringe or was that a modification of the original doll? In comparison with the TS3 depiction, it really does look better.
I actually really don’t know, it was a random barbie I found on Ebay, nothing was mentionned, but yeah it already had the fringe with… maybe i should make it shorter for make her even more accurated but don"t want to mess it up…

I thnik ther should be a Barbie accurate but I have to find out who… hehe but the new Ken had an accurate head but not clothes, so I decided to pursache acurate ones…

@Emma your the 1974 isn´t, I mean, his head Sculpt is from 1974 but a nineties body, the head is from that time too… an when you used a mold many times and redo new molds this changes a lot from the previous versions… so the head is wider and flatter and I guess you can´t squeeze it… I hot a similar Barbie… but keep looking for the perfect one.
The green clear Buzz (someone asked) is a Mattel version with a rocket box. I found it used and abandoned… now he has a family hehe
Impressive as always Emma, I figured a few people would outdo my snake, and that looks well on its way. I still like mine, but thats really coming along

Thanks mate, I’m actually about to add like the kind of bubbles above the eyes… 
And i decided to change the head to make it more accurate, actually there were holes where there were the eyes in… it was disturbing me a bit xD
Ive just finished to work the purple thing on photoshop, have to buy some ink 
!
