Hey i was wondering if any of you now that Mr.Spell is a real toy in a way. The actual toy is called āSpeak & Spellā. I have a link to the eBay page right here.
If you guys ever want to make a real working Mr.Spell, you guys could use the electronic parts from Speak & Spell and make a new case that looks like Mr.Spell, then work the electronics into Mr.Spell case. So you could have a real working Mr.Spell! But thats my idea of what to do. You will probably do some thing better. Hope this helps in anyway!

Why didnāt they want to make it? Do you think itās because of his sad face ?[/quote:237ypi8z]
I have no idea why they didnāt make it. Its stupid. But im going to say what they think they said, [b:237ypi8z]OH! Well we don`t need a plush Chuckles The Clown to make for little kids. Cause we got a build a Chuckles The Clown, what it is. You basically buy a piece of chuckles in one set and it cost around $12.00 for each part of him. There are 5 sets to collect so $12 X 5 is CHING CHING! And billions of chuckles fans will buy him![/b:237ypi8z] So thats my thoughts what the disney store was saying.
yeah I tought about it but will be quite impossible as to build mr spell case, you will have to bake it, and I donāt think the main speak & spell would like it xD, or I donāt know how to proceed otherwiseā¦
Lol, thought about doing this for months now, its just the speak and spell cost to much in postage to Australia. Re-assembling the electronics would be easy but I have no idea how to make the case. You guys were saying you wouldnt be able to bake it because of the speak and spell components, why not make the case in two halves then bake it, put the electronics inside and glue it shut??
Unfortunately, the only Mr. Spells that will ever exist, will be for display onlyā¦even if you made the pieces to bake, and put the electronics inside, the ābuttonā from clay would eventually deform and erode. Other than finding a toy company willing to custom make it (and acquire the license from pixar), i doubt this would ever happen. And thatās only possible in a dreamworld, where some billionaire really wants to finish his Toy Story Collection and finances all thatā¦lol
Maybe just use buttons on the front like the original ones on the speak and spell- with like a skin over the front with the mr spell buttons (move the appropriate keys under the right place, or get a new key panel and wire it up to the internals of the speak and spell) , if you know what i mean, lol. and any other buttons like the, from what i can tell, volume dial on the side just leave a hole in the case and poke the button out from the inside, again if you know what im trying to describe! But i agree you would have to Really want to have a complete collection, have a lot of time on your hands and be good with electronics and sculpy to try it!! But anythings possible!
I think the button sizes and spacing are too off to attempt thatā¦however, anything is possible i suppose. It might be easier to hire a team of engineering to build it though. I could draw the model in autocad, so if you happen to know someone with a 5-axis CNC machine that can handle plasticā¦then weād have something lol
Thatās so cute! Yea i now some one who has the pink rabbit, i never asked for it cause i donāt really need it. But your really getting into this Woody Roundup toys! Awesome!
I got CHATTER TELEPHONE!! He is very beat up and chewed. I really didnāt want him but when i walked past him and saw him (i saw him just today). I felt so sorry that i bought him as soon as possible(Going to fix him up). He has a wooden bottom and i love him.
The Peas are from Gaz Wares(i think thats the name) a small company. They can be hard to find if you canāt buy online. Dolly is a Toy from a 3 pack of plush toy story Toys, the goggle eyes i put on my self her original eyes are sown on. I find that Dolly toy is perfect every way. The 3 pack is rare, thatās what some people tell me.
