Toy Story Replicas (No trading-related posts please)

Whoops, misread that

Super Nintendos cost around $30-$60, depending if they come with working controllers, cables, etc. I want one myself, so many great games for it!

And my name is Andrew too :stuck_out_tongue:
I probably would’ve been a little hesitant to write ā€œAndyā€ on the bottom of all my Toy Story toys if I wasn’t named Andrew ;-p

Speaking of writing ā€œAndyā€ on the bottom of Toy Story toys, has anyone attempted to write it on the TSC Jessie’s boot? There’s writing there that says ā€œĀ© Thinkway Toysā€ or something like that, and I dunno if I want to try it.

And where did you get the belt Emma?

How much are 3D printing services these days? If I were to build a 3D model of the non Slinky parts and wanted them printed in 3D would that cost a lot? I guess it all comes down to material, but I’m not sure what I would use to get it accurate enough for my tastes. The back half would have to be weighted quite a bit so as to not tip over like the real toy does when stretched out. Finish is also important, it can’t be plain ol shinny plastic.

Not that I have any money to even start thinking about this…

Edit: This is what I have so far if anyone’s curious.

But this is more for the fan art board than the replica thread (even though I guess you could argue this is a digital replica). I’ll post further updates over there.

Which Wheezy is from TS on Ice?

This is the only site I can think of that does 3D printing, so you might consider seeing what it would cost on there. I think its based on size and material of the object.

Ah, okay. I didn’t realize they sold that one there. That one’s still a little small, right?

On an unrelated note, I keep going back and forth on the Medicom Rocky. I know it’s the most accurate made to date, but it’s still so far out of scale I can’t really justify spending $100-200 on it. Has anyone attempted to make one that’s actually 10"? Or have any ideas for a good base for an in-scale Rocky?

It’s a tad small, but best on the market, and I’m very happy with it.

Even though Rocky is ā€œsmallā€ he seems to change size a bit from scene to scene, so to me, its not a huge deal. He’s huge next to the other one I had, and medicom is quality all the way.

we might get a toy story collection Rocky, I saw this toy story 3 poster at world of Disney and Rocky was on it. he was about the size of buzz on it.

I noticed this is true of a lot of characters while trying to get reference pics for customs. I’m glad someone else noticed this too. Now I don’t feel so crazy!

Was this a toy version of Rocky or an animated one? If it’s the latter, I doubt it means anything in terms of future releases. It is kinda weird that they would randomly include a picture of a character who as in thirteen frames of the movie, though…

I cross my fingers for a collection Rocky all the time hopefully it happens.

So, we’re trying to build the Pizza Planet Truck but that’s not why I’m posting here. Our current is hurdle is that we’re trying to construct the light up rocket for the roof of the. Pictured above is our current fiberglass prototype which we have affectionately named ā€œThe Sankara Stoneā€

Here are a few reference images.

Basically I’m just fishing for suggestions on how we could make copies of this fiberglass version. First, we thought of vacuum forming which will be rather expensive. As of now we’re leaning towards fiberglass molding which would be cheaper and quicker. I think we have exhausted our options when it comes to ways to make hollow light up objects. Tell me what you think. Thanks for reading.

Rocky was animated, I also thought it was strange that he would be on there. also it wasn’t really a poster, it was a part of the wall and it was really big.

Since the original buyer backed out, anyone want a TS on ice lenny for 45 bucks?

why is he so expensive, how much was he origanaly?

Supply and demand. They only sell them at toy story on ice set ups, so they don’t make that many. when something is rare its worth more.

last one on ebay was $100+ with shipping

how about $20?

Did you read anything they wrote above…I hope your being sarcastic.

They retail at $15 and they are very rare, you do the math
