Toy Story Replicas (No trading-related posts please)

And also the toy story on ice one is real binoculars, the only down fall is that it’s not a wind up toy :frowning: But still, it looks brilliant!

Someone on this forum gave me a link for a very cheap Rex, it was a Japanese shop. Now I can’t find the person who gave me the link anymore, just as the link!!

it was from walt7, search his posts

Finally received Toy Story Collection Dolly and Buttercup.

At first I thought both looked way too small, but once I shuffled up how I was displaying the collection, I actually think they look just about perfect size wise.

My Buttercup came with a muzzle that was pointed, so I stuffed him up more to round out the nose, unfortuantely I lost the “dip” around his eyes, but he still looks better, and of the three Buttercups we have gotten he is definitely the best. I also hate how his mouth is gaping open. I tried sewing the corners to close it a little, but it looked wrong, so instead I used a little hot glue in the middle to keep it from hanging open.

Dolly has a wrinkle around one of here eyes, I tried restuffing her head to try and strighten it, but it is how he eye was attached to her head, so it didn’t help. I did paint on a tooth (was gonna use cloth, but this was faster and easier), and inserted wires into her legs so she would stand on her own. I do still feel she is too small, but after seeing her in the collection this morning, I am still thrilled with her anyway. Makes me happy.

I really do hope that another wave comes along…but at this point it might just be wishful thinking.

^ Last picture is so awesome there we have it all of Bonnie’s toys.

I was sure you would like the new toys Wampar

Big baby is almost done btw  !!

Nice can’t wait to see your Big Baby Emma.

Yeah, it was Walt7. I got my TSC Rex from the same place (Gmarket…the are a korean company owned be eBay) a couple months back. Worked out I think £57 delivered to the UK which is pretty much what retail price here would be.

Link is english.gmarket.co.kr/challenge/ … =192341102
out of stock just now, but I’m guessing they restock regularly. And yes…it does speak 100% english.

Amazing as usual Wampar! Your collection is just breath taking and I can’t wait to see it grow further as the toy story saga lives on. Keep up the good work, mate.

Just won him off of eBay for £5.00!--.jpg

Wow, Lucky, I saw one go for 160! Crazy I know

£160!? Thats crazy! I would never pay that for a character such as Wheezy! The only character i am pretty much desperate for now is Trixi, Disney Store version or not, I just want a Trixi doll!

TRIXIE* TRIXIE* TRIXIE*

Re: Trixie

I keep thinking about buying the Dinosaur Train “Tank” figure as a stand-in for Trixie:

amazon.com/Learning-Curve-LC … B003ET2GOC

As I’ve now been fortunate enough to obtain the TSC versions of Dolly, Mr Pricklepants and Buttercup, the DS Trixie really looks out of place in comparison. And Tank is a blue, talking triceratops which is pretty darn close to Trixie.

I know $160 is pretty insane I was bidding on it and had no chance at winning, I also would love a Trixie, I think instead of Thinkway just making TSC dolly buttercup and mr. pricklepants for wave 3 this is what I would have done:
TSC wave 3:
Dolly
Buttercup
Mr.Pricklepants
Trixie
Additional toys to come out at same time as wave 3 (non-TSC):
TS3 Chuckles
TS3 Peas in a Pod
Like how they did Chunk, Twitch, and Sparks, This way they would have tackled all of Bonnie’s toys in one release of toys, to bad, I wish I was the decision maker at Thinkway toys lol

Before I sculpted my Trixie I actually bought a Tank at Target thinking that a lot of the work would be done for me…but he was way too small. Before I took him back, I did take a picture of him with Rex. Here it is so you can get a feel of how he would look in your collection.

Yeah I really do want a Trixie too xD
Haha yeah I remember buying my lenny on ice toy for $12 too including shipping cost :')

@ wampar

Thanks for the comparison picture with Tank and Rex.

Tank is a bit small, but it kind of looks like it could be from the same line as Rex, although the sculpt is slightly more “cartoonish” than Rex. I guess I’ll just wait for Thinkway’s next announcement since Tank seems to be pretty widely available at the moment.

test the accuracy of rocky gibraltar :nerd:

how do you think?

Wow looks awesome, just wondering did you mold each piece so you could make duplicates because if you did I would LOVE one, I don’t mean to sound rude, it is your work and it’s completely up to you about what you do with it, I just thought I should mention that if you were going to sell them, count me in  lol
